Yes, I will get to it at some point. Sooner than you might think. It's like, 12 pages and just waiting for most of an ending.

And "It wasn't yesterday" is right, as for Kanda, it seems to be just the same day.

And yes, the ending is rather flat, but I wasn't sure what to do that would allow me to sum it up and let it go for a bit. Otherwise I would have been angsting over a good finishing line for a couple more days and ended up with a part two and...

Bah. Yes. There are sequel ideas, as I said in the author's note. And I guess that came out. D: Ah well, no one's perfect. Hell, if I was, this would have been LAVI and Kanda, not ALLEN and Kanda... T_T

I'll get it up eventually. It's just... how should I say... difficult to articulate some ideas given how long it's been since I read most of the manga.

Also -- the akuma blood thing. This fic assumes that it's Alma's blood, not Kanda's. He's basically human in a composed body, nothing super akumay about him. :)
