Jin is a singer and he desperately needs a dancer for his upcoming show. Kame is a dancer and he has some trouble with bad guys. The two meet and hate each other but they have no other choice so they make a deal.
The reason why
Kame stirred and cracked an eye open. He didn’t know what was wrong, but something was definitely wrong here. He brought a hand to his waist, searching for Jin’s arm but it wasn’t there. And then he understood why he was feeling uncomfortable. Jin wasn’t hugging him like usual and the loss of warmth made him shiver from cold. He sat up and looked around, adjusting his eyes to the dark. He was in Jin’s room. He had no idea how he ended up there when they had fallen asleep on the sofa downstairs after… Kame gulped. He stretched his hands and stroked the cold spot on the sheet beside him. ‘Where is Jin?’
Before he could start panicking, the door slowly opened, letting a thin ray of light into the darkness.
“Hey, you’re not sleeping?” Jin asked in a slightly hoarse voice which made Kame frown.
“I just woke up… ehm… where were you?” the boy asked almost whispering.
Jin sat down on the bed and leaning on his tighs, he heaved a long sigh. “I went downstairs to drink a glass of water.”
Kame bit his lips. The singer’s answer wasn’t too convincing, not to mention that the empty spot in the bed next to him was cold and that meant Jin had been away for a while now. Could it be that Jin regretted what had happened and couldn’t bear sleeping with him or even be in the same room?
He turned to the man who was showing his back to him as he was sitting on the edge of the bed.
“Oh my god.” he let out a silent cry as he faced the older man’s bare back.
Jin turned his head to look at him. “What is it?”
Kame carefully touched Jin’s shoulders and turned him back to his previous position. “Your back… god… I left some red marks on it. They… they look bad…” the boy whispered worriedly.
The singer chuckled. “Don’t worry about it. I don’t have any photo shoots for ANAN in the near future.”
“Jin.” Kame scolded him in a harsher voice then clicked his tongue. “Oh god. I’m sorry. Does it hurt?”
Jin shook his head. “Not at all.”
“Let’s find some medicine and apply it on your skin, ok?” Kame said and hurried to get up from the bed but he fell back immediately and winced at the pain that ran through his body. “Damn.”
Jin reached out for him and grabbing his arm, he pushed the boy back to the bed. “I think I should find some medicine for you.” he said jokingly but worry was evident in his voice. “I’m sorry. You should stay in bed for a while.”
Kame shook his head and before Jin could notice he was already limping out of the door and disappeared from the singer’s sight. The younger man returned a couple of minutes later with a tube in his hand and climbed up the bed to sit behind Jin.
“This will be cold, I guess.” he warned the singer and poured some cream on the bare skin.
“Kame…” Jin wanted to tell once again that this was not necessary and he was not feeling any pain at all, but then Kame’s fingertips gently roamed over his back and the singer fell silent. He barely could suppress a moan in pleasure when the slender fingers wandered lower, caressing his skin in an utterly sensual way. Jin’s breathing became heavy and louder until he gave up and decided to turn around to finally face the boy when Kame pulled back his hands.
“Done.”
“Really?” came the groan from Jin, still panting slightly and closing his eyes to regain composure.
“Yeah… Are there any marks elsewhere?” Kame asked, completely unaware of the emotional and physical torture he had caused to the older man. He turned Jin around to examine his upper body closely. “Ah, there are some here on your chest too. I don’t even remember them.” he mumbled thoughtfully while he leaned closer to apply the cream on the singer’s chest.
While Kame was lost in his task, the singer was watching the boy’s face so close to his own. He wandered his gaze over the beautiful features in front of him, watching the white skin, the soft pink lips slightly parted and when Kame’s thin eyebrows drew together in a frown in concentration he let out a small smile. Kame’s fingers gently brushed over his collarbones and Jin jolted, biting his lips, moaning quietly.
Kame tensed and pulled his hand back. “S-sorry. Does it hurt?”
Jin shook his head. “No.”
Seeing the confused look on the boy’s face Jin sighed deeply. “It’ just that…”
Kame was eyeing him curiously, blushing slightly when he realized how close their faces were to each other. “What?”he whispered in a daze, not being able to look away from Jin’s eyes which were holding his gaze firmly.
“I’m ticklish there.” Jin said huskily and Kame’s lips curved into a smile at hearing the answer.
“Are you laughing at me?”
“No.” Kame chuckled and brushed his fingertips once again on the sensitive spot. Jin closed his eyes and bit his lips harder to prevent himself from letting out any sound.
Kame smiled at him teasingly then he leaned down and pressed his lips on Jin’s collarbone, making the man shiver. Jin’s breathing sped up once again and he clutched the sheets under him.
“Kazu…” the singer warned the boy but his voice didn’t seem to be too threatening as Kame continued blowing light kisses on the sensitive skin.
The boy pulled away just a little so when he spoke Jin could feel his warm breath tickling his collarbone. “So you don’t like this?” he whispered and Jin knew he had enough. He grabbed the boy’s hands and pushed him to lie on the bed, with his arms pinned over his head. Kame gasped and stared at the man hovering above him.
Jin took a few heavy breaths and looked into Kame’s lustful eyes. “Stop teasing me while I still can stop myself.”
Kame bit his lips to suppress a moan at hearing the singer’s husky voice. “And if I don’t want you to stop yourself?”
Jin smiled at him and looked a bit surprised. “God, I’ve never thought you could be such a tease.” then he lowered his lips to kiss the boy gently and pulling away, he looked into the brown orbs again. “I don’t want to hurt you, Kazu, it would be too much.” he said in a serious tone and kissed the boy again, softly and slowly but when Kame responded and a moan escaped his mouth, the kiss became more passionate. Jin released the other’s hands and stroked down along his arms until he reached Kame’s shoulders. He slid his arms beneath him, hugging him tightly, still playing with the sweet lips, which were so hard for him to stop kissing.
Kame circled his slender arms around Jin and pulled him closer, letting himself be lost in the warm feeling, forgetting about anything but the man he was craving for so much.
“Kazu…” Jin moaned, breaking the kiss, burying his face in the crook of the boy’s neck, pecking it shortly. “We have to stop. Seriously.”
Kame chuckled and let out a sigh. “I guess so.”
Jin pulled away, digging his fingers in the younger man’s hair. “Come on, let’s sleep a few more hours. I have to wake up early.”
Kame nodded and Jin turned them around to move to the pillows, not loosening his embrace even a bit, still hugging the slender form to his body as if he was afraid of letting him go. Kame giggled but then just snuggled closer to Jin, watching his serious expression, which made him feel somehow uncomfortable.
“What’s wrong, Jin?”
Seemingly nervous, the singer licked his lips and his palm roamed over Kame’s back. “I have to go to the press conference tomorrow.”
“Yeah, I know. And?”
Jin hesitated. “Would you come with me?” he blurted out finally.
Kame frowned. “If you want… but why?”
Jin looked away and heaved a long sigh. “Just… just come with me, ok?”
The tone of his voice made Kame’s heart clench and he ran his hands over the older’s man back just like Jin had done earlier. “Jin… is it possible that you are asking me to come with you because you don’t trust me?” the boy asked, in his voice there was no anger but he sounded a little hurt and Jin looked up in surprise, shaking his head furiously.
“Ok…” Kame sighed. “Then why?”
The older man was looking at him silently and Kame could see how his deep brown orbs were shining in the dark.
“You don’t want to leave me in the house alone?” he tried to guess and after a long pause the singer just shrugged his shoulders and pouted which made Kame chuckle because it assured him that he had just hit the nail on the head. Jin looked like a child at the moment who was ashamed of admitting that he was afraid in the dark.
Kame snuggled closer, inhaled Jin’s scent deeply, letting his body relax and closed his eyes. “I’m going with you then.” he whispered half-asleep and the last thing he could feel before drifting off was Jin’s relieved sigh and a soft peck on his forehead.
ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ
“Akanishi-kun, Akanishi-kun! Is it true that you got hurt when the incident happened?”
“I just had a small bruise on my cheek, nothing more.”
“Akanishi-kun, do you have any idea who had attacked you?”
“No, I don’t.” Jin lied with a smile and lowered his lips closer to the mic, and added with a playful smile. “It looks like someone doesn’t like my voice too much.”
The riporters laughed at the answer, while Kame was tapping his fingers anxiously on the wall behind him. He was eyeing the crowd, his look returned to Jin from time to time. “How the hell can he be so calm? He’s even joking with these people. And they are laughing that he had almost died??? Bullshit.”
Kame sighed and continued praying for the press conference to end as quickly as possible. He didn’t know for how long he could stay here, there were so many people around and he was not able to watch all of them at the same time. He jumped at hearing any voices which were louder than normal and he snapped his head in fear when someone made a sudden movement in the crowd. He rubbed his fingers together nervously and his attention was caught by the next question directed to Jin.
“Akanishi-kun, what about tomorrow’s concert?”
Jin smiled politely. “We apologize to everyone who wanted to attend tomorrow’s show, the concert has been cancelled. As this was the second time that I had to cancel the show, we decided to hold the last concert in a bigger arena for those who had already bought their tickets for one of the concerts. We need a little more time to get everything prepared so the last concert of the tour is going to be settled in two weeks time.”
“The last concert” Kame felt a painful sting in his chest. “Two weeks. We have two more weeks, Jin.”
“Akanishi-kun, people say you haven’t showed up in your favorite club and you haven’t been seen with any pretty woman lately.”
Kame was shaken out of his thoughts once again.
“I’ve been very busy with the tour in these weeks.” came the careful answer from Jin, who forced a polite smile on his face. He knew he couldn’t avoid this kind of questions for so long.
“Is it possible that there is someone who keeps you… ehm… distracted? Do you have a girlfriend, maybe?”
Kame held his breath.
“No. I don’t have one.”
Kame exhaled. “Of course not. What the hell could he answer to this question?”
The younger boy watched Jin’s indifferent expression, trying to find out what he would have answered, if the riporter had only asked the first question and not mentioned the possibility of a girlfriend. But the sudden buzzing sound of his cellphone made him jump and he snapped out of his daze. Kame fished his phone out of his pocket and walked a bit further from the crowd.
“Kame here.” he whispered loudly, pushing his ear to the phone.
“Kazuya.”
Kame stumbled over his feet and his shoulder hit the wall. His eyes widened in horror and without thinking, he spun around to take a look at Jin, who was still talking and smiling at the curious riporters.
“What do you want?” Kame leaned on the wall, trying not to let the phone fall from his shaking hands. His stomach churned when he heard the man’s disgusting laughter on the other end of the line.
“I’m glad you still remember me. Don’t forget that you still owe me one, Kazuya.”
Kame tried to catch his breath. “I owe you nothing. You got your money. What else do you want?”
There was a long pause on the other end of the line, while Kame roamed his eyes over the crowd, though his vision was a bit blurry and he had to steady himself to be able to stand.
“You.”
“What?” Kame breathed.
“I want you.” Johnny laughed again. “Don’t forget me, Kazuya. Don’t make me sad. And don’t give me a reason to hurt your boyfriend.”
Kame snapped his head to look at Jin again, while he could feel cold sweat rolling down his temple. The singer’s eyes locked with his for a second, staring at his direction and the older man froze at seeing the fear in the other’s eyes.
“Surprised?” Satisfied laughter. “I’m watching you, Kazuya.”
The line went dead and Kame lowered the phone still looking at Jin and panting heavily. The singer’s smile faded and he immediately turned to his manager, whispered something then stood up and bowed to the riporters.
“We have to end the conference here. Thank you.” the manager announced and the noise became louder in the room, making Kame panic, still clutching the cell phone in his sweaty hands. Jin disappeared behind a door and the next moment Kame found himself in the grip of a security guard, who led him to an empty room.
“What happened?” Jin entered and closed the door behind him.
Kame shook his head as if he couldn’t believe what had just happened. Jin walked to him and cupped his face.
“Kame, what happened?” he lifted the boy’s head to look into his eyes, and he started to become very worried seeing how pale Kame was, not to mention that it seemed he was in a kind of shock.
“Kame! God, don’t scare me like that! Talk to me.” Jin brushed the younger man’s messy locks out of his face then his gaze wandered to the phone in the boy’s hand.
“It was him.” he stated but Kame still didn’t say anything, just breathed shakily and Jin could feel how his whole body was trembling.
“What did he say? Kame!! What did he say?”
Kame raised his gaze and finally opened his mouth. “He knows.” he whispered.
Jin was confused. “He knows what?”
“Us. He knows about us.”
Jin’s eyes didn’t show any fear as he was stroking the boy’s hair.
“He knows about us. He wants me. He said he wants me. And… and…” Kame continued and Jin had to lean closer to catch the words which were almost inaudible.
“And what?”
“And… he said he was going to hurt you if I don’t obey.” Kame panted and his voice died.
“Obey? What do you have to do?”
Kame shook his head. “I don’t know. I don’t know. I have no idea.” Kame raised his voice while he was still shaking his head. “I don’t know. I… I”
“Kame, Kame! Calm down.” Jin pulled him in an embrace. “It’s okay. He can’t hurt you. He can’t hurt us. I won’t let him, ok?” he soothed the boy’s back comfortingly and placed a kiss to the top of his head. “It’s okay. Calm down.”
When Jin could feel that the boy’s breathing slowed down he pulled away. “Come on, let’s go home.”
He grabbed Kame’s hand but the other didn’t move. “But…”
Jin smiled at him. “Don’t worry. I’ll ask for more security guards. They are going to be there around the house, ok?”
Kame nodded slowly then tightened his grip on Jin’s hand and didn’t let go of them until they arrived home.
ӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿӿ
“I want to go with you.”
“I’m sorry, Kame.” Jin shook his head.
“But why? You asked me to go with you to the press conference and now you don’t want me around?” Kame sounded hurt.
The boy was still upset but Jin managed to calm him down a bit during the weekend. Now that Monday arrived, Jin had to go on with his idol duties, interviews, photo shoots, tv shows. Kame looked so lost and helpless now and Jin knew what he could do for the boy. He just had to make him feel safe and distract him until the time would come to face the devil.
Jin sighed and took Kame’s hand in his. “Don’t get me wrong, Kame. I leave you here because now there are security guards in front of the door. I know you’re safe here and I’m more relaxed this way.”
“But I’m not. You leave me here and go out alone. You think I’m not worried?” Kame snapped at the singer.
Jin smiled at him. “Kame… don’t worry, ok? I’ll be home within a few hours, I promise. And I’m taking guards with me as well. But it’s easier for them if they have to guard only one person. Don’t worry. I’ll call you when I get there, ok?”
Kame let out a deep sigh in frustration but didn’t protest anymore. Biting his lips, he nodded his head.
Jin stroked his cheeks and kissed him on the lips lightly.
“Oh, I almost forgot. Is your passport valid, Kame?”
Kame frowned. “My passport? Yes, I think so. Why?”
Jin shrugged. “Just because we’re going on a vacation.”
“Vacation? Now?”
“Yes, you know we have almost two weeks until the concert and my manager said we can rest for a couple of days.”
“But… where are we going, Jin?”
“La città più bella del mondo”ӿ
“Huh?”
Jin smirked. “Rome.”
Kame’s jaw dropped. “Rome???”
Jin nodded. “Yes, I want to show you Rome. And I want to show you my apartment there.”
Kame’s eyes widened. “You… you have an apartment in Rome???”
“Yes. I’ve lived there for two years.”
“You what?” Kame’s head was a bit dizzy by the great amount of information he got within a few seconds. “Jin really wants to take me there? What is this all about?” Kame closed his mouth and fidgeted in his seat, looking away. “You’ve lived there….”
Jin’s smile froze on his face. “What’s wrong with it?”
Kame shook his head. “Nothing at all…. ehm….”
“What?” Jin raised his eyebrows.
“Ehm…. you lived there… ehm… with a woman?” Kame blurted out.
Jin burst out laughing. “Jealous, huh?”
Kame blushed hard. “Haha, don’t make me laugh. Why should I be jealous?” he raised his voice then lowered it again. “So? You lived there with a woman?”
Jin smiled widely. “Yes, you can say that.”
“Oh.” Kame’s face fell and he couldn’t really hide his disappointment.
“With my mother.” Jin chuckled then stood up and ruffled the younger man’s hair and kissed him again. “I have to go now. I’ll call you later.”
And he was already out of the house, while Kame was still sitting in the same position. He didn’t know why he felt so strange now. And he didn’t understand why he was smiling like crazy. “Rome.”
