Jin is a singer and he desperately needs a dancer for his upcoming show. Kame is a dancer and he has some trouble with bad guys. The two meet and hate each other but they have no other choice so they make a deal.

When Kame woke up the next morning, still in Jin’s arms, he was a bit worried about the older man, but he was proved to be wrong. Jin was cheerful and caring like always, and he was apparently feeling at ease in Rome. He showed Kame around in the city, they visited the famous places about which Jin knew almost everything and it surprised Kame. The singer was like his personal tourist guide without being boring or pedant. He was simply enthusiastic and the feeling infected Kame as he was listening to the historical details about the Colosseum, staring at the huge building, amazed.

Jin’s huge grin never faded as they were strolling around the city and Kame saw how the singer was enjoying being a normal person among normal people, not a popular idol who had to hide his identity and cover himself with sunglasses and hats in order not to be recognized by fans. And last but not least he enjoyed being with Kame, holding hands and stealing light kisses as they were sitting on the Spanish Steps, Jin’s arm loosely around the boy’s shoulders.

Kame shivered when the wind started to blow and snuggled closer.

“How come it is so much colder here than in Tokyo?” he groaned with his teeth clashing together as he was trembling hard.

Jin chuckled and hugged him closer, trying to warm him up a bit. “Come on, let’s go. I want to show you my favourite café.”

When they entered the small café, a loud cry was heard as the owner resognized Jin and hurried to greet him. Kame was amazed, again, Jin seemed to know so many people here who didn’t treat him as a celebrity and the younger man knew that it meant so much to Jin. He must have felt like arriving home. Because once this place was Jin’s home.

They sat down after Jin talked to the owner and introduced Kame. The boy really wanted to know how Jin introduced him but he didn’t speak the language and didn’t dare to ask Jin about it. In these two days Kame learned a few words, of course, but he doubted it would be a good idea to say them in a conversation like this as he only managed to extend his non-existing Italian vocabulary with the dirty words Jin kept whispering into his ear while they were making love.

So in situations like these he just preferred to stay quiet and listen. They were drinking the delicious cappuccino when a shrieking voice almost made Kame drop his mug.

“JIIIIN!!!” the young woman stepped in front of them and grabbed Jin by his shirt, pulling him up and hugging him shamelessly. Kame blinked in surprise, not only because the girl was dressed as if it was summer out there but also because she was Japanese.

“Mizuki.” Jin groaned as he was trying to unwrap the girl’s skinny arms from his waist. When he finally managed to do it, he pushed the girl gently away. “Mizuki, this is Kamenashi Kazuya, he is…”

“Ah, nice to meet you. Just call me Mizuki.” the girl chirped, not even looking at Kame, but still fixing her eyes on Jin who looked embarrassed. “Jin, how have you been?” she stretched her hand out and gently grabbed Jin’s arms, who doesn’t seemed to be pleased with the action.

“Fine. You?” Jin answered shyly, trying to look at Kame in an apologatic way. Mizuki noticed the glance and giggled, stepping closer to Jin to catch his attention. “Il tuo amoroso?  È bellissimo ma sono sicura ti sono mancata, Jin. Lo sai dove mi trovi se vuoi spendere una notte con me. Solo io e te.” (“Your lover? He is beautiful but I’m sure you’ve missed me, Jin. You know where to find me if you want to spend a night with me. Only you and me.”), she licked her lips in a sensual way before she turned to Kame, ignoring the blush that was spreading on Jin’s face. “It was a pleasure to meet you. Let’s meet again when I go back to Japan.”

“You.. you’re going back to Japan?” Jin stuttered.

Mizuki winked at him. “Yes.” then she leaned forward and whispered into Jin’s ears. “Let’s meet up, what do you say? I’ve missed you.” and she placed a kiss on the singer’s cheek before she waved her hand for the last time and walked away.

Kame was still in shock as he was staring after the girl. The uneasy feeling in his chest was hurting him but the worst was how Jin reacted to the girl’s touches and words.

“What did she say?” he asked when Jin sat back, looking still embarrassed.

“Huh?”

“What did she say? If she changed to Italian it was something she didn’t want me to hear.” Kame said calmly though his thoughts were in a mess inside his head.

“Nothing, really. Don’t mind her.” Jin smiled and took Kame’s hands in his but the boy pulled them away.

“Who was she?”

Jin looked down at the table. “Well… you know… she was my girlfriend back then. She had been living in Rome for a while when I moved here so it was easy to get along with her at first, when I didn’t know anyone here. But… can’t we talk about something else?”

Kame frowned. He didn’t like that expression on Jin’s face and he didn’t like that girl at all. And she said she would go back to Japan and Kame had bad feelings about it. Really bad feelings.

“Ah.. Jin, stop it.” Kame giggled when Jin’s hands slipped under his shirt, tickling his skin.

“Yeah? Do you really want me to stop?” Jin asked and turned back to kiss those soft lips and groping all over that slender body which was driving him crazy.

They both groaned in annoyance when Jin’s phone started to ring.

“Who the hell is this?” Jin mumbled, still kissing and licking Kame’s neck and the boy let out a moan.

“Jin, answer the… ah… phone.” he gently pushed the older man away.

Jin reluctantly pulled away and stood up, looking for his phone. “Yes?” he snapped at the caller and Kame suppressed a chuckle at hearing the impatient tone of the singer’s voice.

“Ah, Sakamoto-san…. I’m fine. Yes… yes. I have to talk to my manager about it… ah, really? Yes, great… I see. Ok. Thank you, Sakamoto-san.”

Jin ended the call and frowned.

“What’s wrong?” Kame asked, leaning on his elbow.

“Nothing. It was the producer of the new drama I’m going to start shooting after the tour. He called me because we’re going to have a meeting when we arrive back in Japan. Actually, he said he will be waiting for me at the airport tomorrow so I have to send him a message to let him know when we will arrive so he can pick me up. It’s just…” Jin was deep in thoughts.

“What?”

“My manager didn’t say anything about it yet. It’s strange. Well, I guess he’s going to call me soon.” Jin said and crawled closer to Kame, continuing where he had left off before. “But I don’t want to talk about work now.” he finished biting Kame earlobe who gasped and let out a soft laugh, pulling Jin’s shirt off and throwing on the floor, where the rest of their clothes landed soon as well.

“BAKANISHI!!!”

“Don’t shout, you idiot!”

Yamapi chuckled and greeted Kame too as they were standing in the crowd at the airport.

“So how was it?”

Kame smiled at him. “It was great. Rome is beautiful.”

Jin flashed a wide grin at him then turned to Yamapi. “Pi, thank you for bringing him home. I’ll call you when I finish, ok?”

Yamapi patted his shoulder. “Don’t worry, Jin. Tatsuya is going to be there too. We’re going to take care of Kame.”

“Ok.” Jin smiled. “Sakamoto-san will arrive soon to pick me up. I think you should go now.” he turned to Kame and seized his hand. “I’m going to be home soon.”

Kame smiled at him. “Okay.” he turned to walk away with Yamapi but then he turned back. “Jin, it was really great. Thank you.”

Jin felt himself melting staring at that beautiful smile on the younger man’s face and thought he would get used to seeing it every day for the rest of his life. He smiled for himself while he tried to call his manager once again but he failed. It was strange that the man didn’t answer him since yesterday and didn’t say anything about the meeting with the producer.

Jin’s thoughts were interrupted when he stepped out of the building and a black car pulled off in front of him. A man jumped out of the car with a wide grin on his face. “Akanishi-san, nice to meet you.”

“Sakamoto-san?”

The man nodded. “I’m sorry for calling you out of the blue. But you know, our schedule is tight, so we had to organize this meeting as soon as possible. Oh, my assistant, Nakano-san.” he pointed at the car where another man stuck his head out of the window.

Jin nodded at him and got in the car to occupy the back seat. He had a strange feeling when he sat in the car. He couldn’t explain it but something was off and he didn’t like it.

“Where are we going exactly?” he asked as Sakamoto got in and drove away from the airport.

“To our office. It is located in the suburban area.” the man answered and flashed another grin at Jin who started shifting in his seat, feeling uncomfortable.

They didn’t speak too much and after half an hour sitting in complete silence, Jin made a failed attempt to stretch his body which was aching after the long flight. His legs accidentally hit something on the ground. He was about to apologize when he looked down and noticed the object he had kicked and the words got stuck in his throat.

It can’t be.

He carefully leaned down to pick it up from the floor and brought it closer to his eyes. It was a pair of glasses. Kame’s old glasses, to be exact, which the boy had lost before he showed up in the singer’s house, all messy and being drugged.

Jin’s heart skipped a beat but he was trying to stay calm. He carefully dropped the glasses back on the floor and tried to think. It seemed that Sakamoto and Nakano, or whoever they were, hadn’t noticed anything.

Jin forced himself to breathe slowly and deeply, hoping to calm his rapid heartbeating as he dug his hand into his pocket. He flipped his phone open and tried to click on a number blindly. He waited for a few seconds then turned to Sakamoto.

“Where are we going exactly? I don’t really know this area.” he said loudly, his phone trembled a bit in his hands.

Sakamoto smiled at him. “I’ve already told you, Akanishi-san. The office is near.”

Jin looked out of the window. “Oh, I know this place. This building was the theatre that had burned down a few months ago. And there is that market behind it.” he exclaimed, almost shouting and trying to cover it up with enthusiasm. Sakamoto just smiled at him.

“We are here.” the man said in a low voice, his smile miraculously disappeared from his face.

Jin gulped before he stepped out of the car. “It looks like a store house.” Jin forced a laugh. “And it looks weird that huge yellow gate.”

The man glared at him then he smiled and Jin was sure he had never seen such a fake smile before. The big yellow gate opened in front of him and Sakamoto signalled him to enter.

The store house was dark and dusty. Jin took a few steps inside, still clenching his cell phone in his palm when the door closed behind him with a loud noise. Jin was not surprised and didn’t move a bit when he felt a strong grip on his arm.

“Akanishi-san. Nice to meet you.”

Jin blinked to adjust his eyes to the dark and could finally see the figure standing in front of him.

“Johnny.” the singer stated, his voice didn’t reveal any surprise or shock. He saw that coming.

The old man laughed and Jin realized that Kame was right. That bastard had the most disgusting laughter one could imagine. It’s not surprising the younger boy had nightmares for so long.

“What do you want, you son of a bitch?” Jin hissed as his hands began shaking more violently, this time in anger.

Johnny laughed again and stepped closer. “It’s not very nice of you, Akanishi-san.” He leaned a bit forward. “I want Kazuya, of course.”

Jin launched himself forward in the moment those words left the old man’s mouth and tried to punch him, but he was stopped by a hard blow which landed on his stomach. Jin coughed and fell on his knees.

It was not the first time that Sakamoto or whatever-his-name-is had hit someone, that was clear. Jin struggled to stand up, but he fell on the floor when the man punched him again, this time on his face. Jin groaned in pain and pressed his hand on his aching nose, blood flowing through his fingers.

“You jerk. I swear I will kill you if you…”

“Shut up.” Johnny’s voice was harsh and impatient. “You’re not allowed to talk.” the old man let out another laughter which convinced Jin that the other was a complete madman.

Jin raised his throbbing head to look at the man. “Don’t you dare to lay a finger on Kazuya, you sick bastard.”

Johnny lowered himself beside Jin and grabbed the man’s hair, pulling it up, hard. Jin bit back a groan. “I told you to shut up.” Johnny stared into his eyes before he released him and stood up. “I hope you said goodbye to Kazuya. That was the last time you saw him.”

“What?” Jin raised his head but he was hit again from behind. His vision blurred when his head made contact with the hard floor. He tried to push himself again, groaning in pain but he felt no strength in his arms and everything was spinning around him. His hands were lying beside his head on the floor and he could feel something wet on his fingertips. His last thoughts were about Kame before he passed out.
