circles 01.

Akame
R / NC-17, nothing really angsty, though it has an angsty atmosphere I think. Some fluff, some weird humor, crack, smut and romance along the way.
“If one wanted to find a suitable metaphor for their so-called relationship, it would be 'circle'. With the same point as the beginning and the end, which marks the one and only Akanishi Jin for Kame, though there really isn't anything romantic to this concept, if we don't count candle-lit dinners where the food only plays the role of some kinky business and the candles are always forgotten.”
Warning: Language! Mainly from the narrator's side.

Author Note1: This fic is different from what I usually write. I can say it's weird.
Author Note2: This is the very late birthday fic for sugar_pain_baby . Rina dear, Happy Birthday to you once again!!! I'm extremely nervous about this. I hope you will like it, I'm soooooo not sure about that.
Author Note3: Anyway, of course I didn't manage to finish it, I cut it into two parts and now I'd like to see what you guys think. I have the second part, too but I'm still unsure about the ending so I wouldn't be surprised if this turned into a 3-part fic. Triple-shot, if you like to call it that way.
Enjoy!

When Kame first told Jin he had a boyfriend Jin laughed. He laughed his ass off because Kame was so persistent to convince him that his new-found lover is a serious guy - serious about life, serious about work and serious about him. Which means they are not fucking buddies, committed to each other in some perverted, retarded, sick way, he is not a friend whom you can fuck whenever you feel horny, whom you can push away and leave when it becomes too much and whom you can't let go for eleven fucking years.

No, the new guy is nothing like this. Kame and Jin are. Were.

Jin can't even count how many times he has heard the same thing from Kame over the years. Guys would come and go, leaving nearly no trace of themselves, not even their names in their memory. The only permanent characters in the story are Kame and Jin.

It didn't stop Kame from trying though and after making the same mistakes all over again and then drawing the conclusion, promising he would be wiser next time, when that next time came, the same mistakes found Kame again and Kame found Jin.

If one wanted to find a suitable metaphor for their so-called relationship, it would be 'circle'. With the same point as the beginning and the end, which marks the one and only Akanishi Jin for Kame, though there really isn't anything romantic to this concept, if we don't count candle-lit dinners where the food only plays the role of some kinky business and the candles are always forgotten.

While Kame was having his emotional struggles and pathetic attempts to break free, Jin didn't try having any. Why? Because it was simple, it was easy. Comfortable. He's had sex with others, yes, he did and every hot session ended with Jin making a mental note to himself that it was a good fuck but he'd rather stay with Kame, because they just know what the other needs.

It is true, they do. Who wouldn't? After having a sex affair that lasts for five years, not counting those previous six when they practically had grown up together? Jin knows what to expect and gets exactly that. No more, no less. Easy. Simple. Comfortable.

No guilty conscience. No regrets.

Then Kame dropped the bomb, there, sprawled on Jin's dining table, panting and sweating all over and among violent thrust he kind of confessed that he had a boyfriend. Jin didn't stop pounding into him, his fingers fisted into Kame's hair, the other arm circled around his waist, fingers digging into his skin and began laughing hard and Kame laughed with him.

Then Jin thrusted into him harder and faster, his hands were all over Kame and Kame groaned and came, Jin following him immediately and then he pulled out, lit a cigarette, offering one to Kame and then they smoked.

And now there is this guy, his name somehow escaped Jin's attention, who is now making Kame busy, fucks him and takes him to dinner, maybe they even sing love songs to each other, whispering the other's name as they fall asleep and the whole scene enters Jin's mind so vividly that he starts laughing again, finding the whole scenario extremely funny and there is just one thing that keeps bugging him, that is, Kame is ignoring him.

He doesn't mind this guy being so sappy and romantic with Kame, he doesn't mind him fucking Kame, he doesn't mind him loving Kame. He can't blame him after all. The guy is young and inexperienced, who just got over his identity crisis, resulting in finally accepting - after some tearful outbursts and some ridiculous make out sessions with high school girls - that he's gay. Then this innocent guy meets Kamenashi Kazuya and thinks he's hit the jackpot.

He doesn't know about Kame being fucked by Jin every other day. And he doesn't know that he is barely enough to make anything about it. Simple as that.

And Jin is smirking to himself, thinking about the poor guy who will experience his first unconditional and devoted love followed by an inevitable heartbreak and then bawls his eyes out, sitting next to his mother who thinks his little son probably grew up and then all that's left is waiting for him to admit that thinking he's gay was a mistake and proceeding to find a pretty girl to marry.

Jin doesn't mind any of that, there is nothing wrong with this, except that Kame is behaving like he was transparent or invisible and Jin couldn't blame it on anybody but the new guy and he feels a sudden coldness in his guts and thinks he's going to be sick.

Fuck the new guy.

-

“Why are you here?” Kame asks grimly a few days later, looking as if he wants to cut Jin's way to his apartment, though Jin knows it's impossible because Kame has never refused to let him in and let Jin take him.

“You didn't answer my call,” Jin points out, trying to keep reproach from creeping into his voice because he doesn't want to sound like a jealous boyfriend, which he is not.

Kame sighs, Jin's not sure why but stops thinking about it when Kame steps aside and lets him enter. The apartment is neat and tidy as usual and Jin tries hard to pretend that he's amazed by the fact that Kame is a neat freak and only that's why he looks around so eagerly and not because he is looking for anything that would give away the other guy's presence.

“I don't have time for you now, so you can blurt out very quickly what you want and then leave... please.” There is a cold undertone in Kame's voice which Jin doesn't like at all so he rolls his eyes and tries to act cool.

“I'm pretty sure you have some ideas why I'm here so why don't you just stop acting bitchy and let me undress you?” Jin smirks and slides the shirt down on Kame's arms. The shoulders are tense under his fingertips and Kame steps back.

“I'm having a date later,” Kame states so naturally that it sends shivers down Jin's spine, tugging his shirt back to cover his shoulders, but not before Jin notices something on his skin, right above his collarbone.

“He gave you a hicky. Some scratches, too. So he likes it hard, doesn't he,” Jin tries to sound mocking because, really, only the mere thought of this guy, who thinks he can just 'mark' Kame as his own, is plain pathetic.

Instinctively, Kame raises his hand to cover the bruise but then only stares at Jin as if he can look through him.

“What?” Jin asks, arms rising in the air in defense.

“That's none of your business,” Kame states and walks to the door, flinging it open; an obvious gesture that he wants to close it only when Jin is on the other side of it. Then he adds. “We are over.”

Jin gives a snort and walks closer to Kame in a style which he hopes that looks cool, only that his legs tremble so much that he is afraid he looks like a drunken pelican instead. “Don't be so melodramatic. You know you like me fucking you more than that brat.”

After carefully thinking about the statement for a few seconds, Kame advances a few steps and makes Jin move back a good two metres. Jin is staring into Kame's eyes, smirking and doesn't notice that he is practically out of the door until it suddenly slams shut in front of his face, hitting his nose ever so slightly but in a damn effective way as his eyes start to water.

Snapping out of his trance, Jin starts gaping at the closed door and bangs on it with one fist, as he keeps his other hand on his abused nose.

“Then don't come to me complaining,” he shouts and hopes with his whole heart that he doesn't sound as pathetic as he feels himself. “I warned you!” he threatens with a last angry beat then listens.

There is no response from Kame for the next ten minutes.

But seriously, fuck the new guy.

-

Kame doesn't call him crying and begging. In fact, Kame doesn't call him at all and Jin thinks something must be wrong with his phone, so after two weeks, deprived of sex and Kame, he dials the phone number he knows better than his own birth date and waits.

Jin waits for what seems like years and all he hears is his own heartbeat echoing in the receiver but not Kame's voice. After trying for another hour, Jin angrily throws his phone against the wall and hollers. He decides he's had enough.

Jin starts making plans.

Given that his relationship with Kame is based on nothing else than mindblowing and very much frequent sex - at least it was before - , the only acceptable idea that occurs to Jin is to seduce Kame with the natural charm he thinks he has.

He wouldn't really care, Kame is free to do whatever he wants, with whomever he wants, yet it is a bit of an exaggeration and not less selfishness from Kame's side that he leaves Jin without having any sex for at least two weeks now.

Though Jin would be able to get anyone he wants, he just doesn't feel like it now. And Jin feels offended because he himself has never refused Kame when the latter wanted to have sex with him. Though at this point Jin fails to remember that the horny bastard between the two of them is usually not Kame.

-

“Why the hell did you have to drag me here?” Yamapi complains when Jin throws himself into the the pile of clothes in front of him, picking up the most ridiculous outfits one can imagine.

“Because you know what makes me look hot,” Jin offers an explanation, missing the sheer annoyance that radiates from his best friend's presence.

“Is it about Kame?” Yamapi asks and snatches a disgustingly glittering leather shirt from Jin's hand, throwing it away as far as he can. “Again?”

Jin snorts. “Oh come on.”

“So it is.” Yamapi concludes and hands Jin a pair of ripped jeans and a simple white shirt. “Jin, when was the last time you had sex?”

The question catches Jin off guard and he hesitates as he is trying to think of a lie, quickly before Yamapi realizes that he hadn't got any in the past three weeks, which is the exact date of Kame slamming the door into his face.

“Oh don't tell me,” Yamapi squeals as he sees Jin's mouth gaping but hears nothing and gives the other one a shove on the shoulder. “Man, that's fucked up.”

“Hey, it's not like I can't have anyone I want,” Jin states what he thinks is obvious.

“Of course,” Yamapi answers unaffectedly then pushes Jin towards the cabin, urging him to change into the new clothes. “Kame likes you better when you wear something simple but fashionable,” he points at the clothes he had picked earlier and bursts into a mocking laughter when Jin's face lights up at his words, looking like a child in front of the Christmas tree. “Asshole.”

-

Jin swears under his breath when he doesn't find Kame at home. He has already imagined Kame opening the door, catching a glimpse of his gorgeous self standing leisurely and all sexy, leaning on the doorframe with his arms crossed and his trademark half-smile on his face. Then Kame would only take a deep breath, his eyes would fall half-lid by lust and longing then he would launch himself at Jin and simply rip all of his new outfit off his body and let himself be taken right there, at the open door.

Jin frowns when the door doesn't open and guessing he must change his plans a little bit, pushes himself away from the doorframe and curses.

By the time Kame arrives, Jin is sitting on the floor, his back leaning on the door, tapping with his feet impatiently. When his annoyance and anger finally subsides, Jin realizes that his confidence also suffered a bit of a setback so when Kame steps in front of him and places a hand on his hip, waiting for an explanation, Jin stumbles on his feet and fidgets with the hem of his shirt with trembling fingers.

Kame, of course, looks breathtaking and confident and all what Jin doesn't at the moment and Jin braces himself for what he should do to seduce the younger man, only that his mind is practically empty.

After a few minutes of eye battle and clearing throats from both sides, Kame gently pushes Jin away and advances to open his door. Jin takes it as a sign and heaves a sigh of relief, following Kame inside when Kame stops abruptly and Jin bumps into his back.

“You're not coming in, Jin,” Kame says and shoves Jin outside.

Jin's eyes widen in disbelief and he has as much presence of mind that he instinctively puts his foot inside, stopping Kame from closing the door on him again.

“No,” Kame warns him but releases the door as Jin steps in and closes the distance between them.

“No,” he hears the lock clicking into its place and Jin sneaks a cold hand under his shirt.

“No,” Kame says again, though it doesn't sound like a rejection anymore and Jin smirks as he feels the warm skin under his fingerstips, Kame's chest heaving in a frantic pace and his heartbeat quickening under his palm.

Jin presses his body closer and he feels confident again when Kame looks up and parts his lips to press them to Jin's neck and buries his fingers into the messy locks.

“Fuck,” that is Kame's last attempt to protest before he smashes his lips on Jin's and soon Jin's new clothes land on Kame's perfectly clean floor just before Jin pushes him to lie onto them.

Jin makes a mental note to congratulate himself and never go shopping with Yamapi again.

-

Next day, Kame breaks up with the new guy and tries to relax his sore body and guilt-stricken mind with an aromatic bubble bath in his bathroom when Jin bargs in and joins him with a grin on his face, totally satisfied with himself and no trace of guilty conscience in his eyes.

Kame rolls his eyes and kicks Jin under the water, only to have his leg trapped in a tight grip, pulling him closer.

“I hate you,” Kame mumbles but closes his eyes and stops struggling as Jin's wet hands start wandering towards his neck, after brushing his nipples just a little.

Jin smiles and sneaks his other hand up on Kame's thighs, his lips following his stroking fingertips on the smooth skin of the younger man's neck. “Yeah, sure.”

“I really do,” Kame assures him, his words followed by a groan as slender fingers wrap around his half-erected member and a tongue licks his earlobe. “I don't want to do this anymore.”

Jin hums and lifts Kame up to place him on his lap, gasping as Kame's body presses to his, the temperature of the water seems to rise by every touch and Jin bucks his lips, causing the water to spill out of the tub, the sound of it mixing with Kame's moans being extremely erotic.

“What did you say?” Jin asks quietly and roams his fingers down Kame's back, making the other throw his head back as they disappear under water.

“I don't remember,” Kame says and Jin muffles his laughter into a kiss.

-

“I won't give up,” Kame says later that day, lying on his bed, his head in Jin's lap, the older one's fingers buried in his hair.

“Okay,” Jin agrees, his gaze fixed on the determined look in the younger man's eyes.

“Really, I'm going to get myself a boyfriend, I'm going to have a normal relationship. I won't give up.”

“Okay,” Jin says again and there is nothing sarcastic about it, he knows Kame will try.

And he's okay with it.

-

The next guy Jin has the luck to acknowledge as Kame's boyfriend, is an alien.

Jin is convinced that the guy was born on the Mars and was sent to the Earth by a gigantic spaceship to do research on humans. Looking like a four-eyed monster wouldn't be a problem, but Jin almost sees the green antennas poking through his head and imagines what the guy's touches must feel like with the obviously sticky substance covering them.

Jin's body gives an involuntary shiver as he stares at the photo Kame handed him.

“He's not that ugly,” Kame protests with a meaningful look and Jin continues to stare at the picture in daze, holding it carefully between his forefinger and thumb as if it is infected with some extraterrestrial disease.

“Break up with him,” he says simply after he pulls himself together and places the photo on the table with sheer disgust on his face.

Kame only shakes his head, his dark brown locks mingle with dyed blond ones as he answers. “You don't have to like him. It's enough if I do.”

With mouth gaping in disbielef, Jin jumps up and shakes his arms in the air like a flight coordinator. “And you do? You like him? I can't believe you like that... that... that Martian!”

There is a blank expression on Kame's face as he merely raises his eyebrows.

Jin doesn't feel like giving up and determinedly, points a finger at Kame. “You... you can't go out with him.”

Anger flashes in Kame's eyes and the well-known don't-fuck-with-me-akanishi-jin look he gives almost sweeps Jin off his feet. “I can't, huh?”

“You can't,” Jin insists and tries to think of a solid reason. “He might bite you and you become an alien, too.”

Kame locks his gaze with his and glares, then sighing in defeat, whacks Jin on the head, hard. “That's a vampire, you idiot.”

-

As much as Jin is sure that Kame's relationship with the alien is doomed to death, he is just as surprised when Kame calls him one morning and announces that the guy is moving in his apartment.

“And where will you hide the spaceship?” Jin asks with genuine curiosity and Kame hangs up on him.

-

After Jin figures that Kame must be mad, he calls the latter to apologize (“But you have to be careful with him. I've heard that aliens can get men pregnant and you don't want alien babies, do you?”) then generously offers his help to Kame rearrange his apartment so it will be ready for the new guy to move in.

Though Kame hesitates to take the offer at first but then asks himself what can probably go wrong and waving off his suspicion, finally agrees.

Jin is grinning to himself, thinking just how ridiculous it is that Kame trusts him so blindly and pats himself on the shoulder for coming up with such a brilliant plan.

While pretending that he is indeed helping, Jin babbles to Kame non-stop about non-sensical things, like the emails Yamapi sends him everyday, and his mother who bakes cinnamon flavored cookies when she knows he's allergic to cinnamon and it is Kame who loves cinnamon and swears if his mother could, she would adopt Kame instead.

He is talking about Ueda's desire to have a butterfly-shaped tattoo on his butt when Kame thinks he needs a breather and leaves Jin in his living room with a lamp in one hand and Kame's drama script collection in the other.

Jin patiently waits for Kame to get out of his eyesight then looks around and when he finally finds what he's looking for, throws the lamp away with an elegant movement.

Kame comes back a few minutes later only to find his apartment empty, except for the lamp lying on the couch and his drama scripts scattered all over his carpet.

Arriving home, Jin grins as he slams his front door and flips his phone open to gaze at the new number that he saved after he had found it in Kame's phone.

“Sayonara, alien guy,” Jin says to himself excitedly and clicks to send the most provocative picture of him and Kame that he could find, then leans back on his seat and waits.

-

The Martian breaks up with Kame the next day and when Kame storms into Jin's apartment, - looking furious, a mixture of hurt and disappointment in his eyes and shoving Jin to the wall, kisses him so gently like never before - Jin finally gets an idea of what guilt tastes like.
