I no longer have a leak!

I guess that means I'll have to start watering my grass..

:)

How'd the leak get fixed? Did you have to pay for it?

well... i tried to get them to take ownership of the leak but they are going to make me take them to court to get them to pay for it. I was tired of fighting with them and wanted to be able to live in my house that i'm paying for so decided I'd rather drop it and just get it fixed and move on with my life.

so yeah, i get to pay for it.. but it's not as much as i was expecting.

so funny story on how i got the leak fixed, one of my neighbors came over to help me and mom move some furniture in and just happened to mention that he had a leak. I told him i did too and was having trouble getting a plumber out. he said his just happened to be at his house then and he would send the guy over after he was done. so the plumber came over and gave me a quote on the spot. they had to replace the piping from the meter to the front porch, so they dug a nice little strip of mine and my neighbor's yard up.

but it's fixed! i'm very happy and should be moving in completely soon. :)
