Who: Hikari and Sora When: Night Time? Idk, Ally didn't tell me<3 Where: Their shared appartment What: Hikari is having nightmares and is woken up by a concerned Sora
As soon as Sora's hand touched her arm, Hikari shot up with a scream - the last thing she'd seen was a shadowy tentacle, dripping with dark water.
Her face was drenched with swear, mixed with warm tears and she found herself breathing heavily as her head whipped around so that she was looking at Sora with horror filled eyes.
It took a moment for what had just happened to entirely sink in and it took her glancing down at Sora's hand on her arm for it to all make sense to her. When it did, she found her eyes filling with tears once again and she promptly burst into tears.
"Sora-san! I-I'm so sorry, I just...! It was so horrible and... and.." she brought her hands up and buried her face in them, both from fear and shame at the fact she'd been seen acting in such a way.
Shocked into inaction at Hikari's sudden scream. It took the other girl's torrent of words to push her into action. Reaching forward she pulled Hikari into a hug before quickly pulling away, an appologetic look on her face. "Ah. I'm sorry, is it okay?" She kept her hand on Hikari's arm and tried to reassure her.
"It's okay Hikari-chan! It was only a dream. You're awake now, everything's alright..." Her face screwed up in worry all the more.
Hikari had noticeably jolted at the sudden hug, but when Sora apologized, she shook her head, sniffling as she scooted over and put her arms around her friend. She hated how weak and childish she was feeling, but the warmth and comfort of Sora's arms made her feel a little better and she leaned into her as she tried to get a grip of herself.
"It was so real....!" she felt her body tremble, tears trickling down her face as she buried her face in Sora's shirt. "I wish this would just be over...!"
When Hikari made the move to be closer, Sora quickly wrapped her arms around the younger girl. Resting her cheek against Hikari's hair, Sora rubbed her back in what she hoped was a comforting way, letting her get out what she needed to say. Glancing around, she tried to locate a tissue box, but couldn't seem to find anything, so finally she offered the chosen of light her sleeve with a small, appologetic smile.
"Wish what would be over?" Her eyebrows came together as she kept a hand on Hikari's back, not wanting to break the contact she seemed to need so much. Trying to look reassuring, she waited for the answer.
