I just spent a collective eight hours writing and polishing my PEL before finally sending it off to Staff. So we'll just see how much more Madrigal-writing I can stand for one evening

Welcome back. It was good to see you there. You were one of my few regrets not PCing this event.

If it makes you feel any better, once fighting broke out on that mod, I thought there was no chance in Hell that anyone would get anywhere near me to kill Joval. I was absolutely thrilled and astounded when you did it. Great job! :-)

That does make me feel better. I keep finding out after the fact that this was a much more epic death than I realized when I was charging off to it. And in an RPG like this, you want you're death to be cool and heroic. So at least I now have a cool, heroic death story. :)

I missed you as a PC. But it was really funny to me to be fighting all these different monsters with Zephyr's face all weekend.

As deaths go, that one sounds pretty solidly worthwhile to me. I've no idea how preventable it was. :-/
