Aw, bb, thank you :) ♥ I'm glad to hear that your mum is all healed-up now and feeling better. I'm amazed by the number of people I've found out have had it since my diagnosis - it seems like the most failtastic body organ ever, possibly only superceded by the appendix.

UM, OKAY, I WILL TRY TO POST SOME MORE SOON THEN, TO MAKE UP FOR MY LACK OF OTHER UPDATES.

YEAH I KNOW. it's like evolution evaded it somehow and made it like the wimpy kid among the organs. right next to appendix.

YES PLEASE. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY TIMES I'VE RE-READ PIA FIDELIS. MORE TIMES THAN HEALTHY.

I hope that things go well for you so that you can hurry up and get well soon.

*hugs* and take care!

PS. I've had my gall bladder out and it's really not so bad. But you will be *very tired* afterward.

Thank you so much sweetheart! Oh, it's a relief to hear that you've had it and that it's not so bad. I'm guessing that having the thing inside is worse than having it taken out!

Arrgh! The dreaded gall bladder. Scourge of the cream filled bun, fish and chips and the slow roasted pork!!!! So sorry yours has given up the ghost but I can reassure you that surgery for this is remarkable and a lot lower impact than it used to be. Have a number of friends and family who have had theirs removed and can still occasionally indulge in their best loved treats. So glad you got a quick diagnosis! So much better than the projectile vomiting (sorry TMI) for weeks that one pal had to endure. We had to try and find absolutely fat free food for him - good grief THAT was a challenge. Even non-fat items still have some fat we discovered - much to my friend's embarrassment...

Also glad to hear your work was supportive so there are no worries on that front. Take care of yourself and wishing you all the very best - are you having the keyhole surgery? Love and hugs and opiate envy LOL

Thank you so much for the support, sweetheart :) Oh, your poor friend! :( I've been lucky enough to have only had a few bad bouts of nausea, but it feels like I've had someone's fist giving me an uppercut under my right rib for weeks X-O Heh, I have a feeling I've had an underlying problem with it for years. I've been getting the pains since I was about 26, but thought it was gastritis. WRONG (thankfully). My mum had hers out too when she was the same age (should really have given us a clue as to what was wrong with me), but that was in the days before laparoscopic surgery, so she has an amazing zipper scar on her tummy. But yes, luckily, I'll be having a laparoscopy. Ha ha, my stepmum has had hers out too, and when I told my dad I'd been needing the same surgery, I said to him, 'Do you see a common denominator here with the three of us, hmm, Dad??' LOL XD
