This is totally creepy. Someone told me that no one else likes Oklahoma the musical, so I set out to prove them wrong, and in the process I discovered your journal. I'm from Michigan. Sweet. But anyways, I happen to be obsessed with Modest Mouse, write fan letters to pinback and own yellow submarine on DVD. By the way, chronic ipod. Nice talking to you.

Haha, Oklahoma is the best, but I usually do have to skip the dream sequence or at least some of it. I can't believe you know Pinback, they were still just local when I found them and it seems weird for them to be known outside San Diego. What's your favorite of theirs?

Oh, its a definite tie between Penelope and Bbtone. I heard about them from a friend from Minnesota who goes to Caltech now.

Ah, I love B, you probably don't have that one, it's on the Offcell EP. Penelope is sentimental to me, still one of my favorites but I don't think it's their best work. Tripoli is another great one from their first album.
