It's hard to believe it was 40 years ago that the whole space race was in full swing, Since space has been so "common place" for many years.

“Bush has announce we're going to Mars by 2020 (he did this a while ago). I have so may questions this brings up.”

Daddy Bush said the same thing when he was running for re-election (as you might recall he failed to get re-elected…), so I wouldn’t hold my breath on this one.

When adjusted for inflation, NASA’s budget has been on the decline for the last twenty years at least…part of why most projects include leftovers and spare parts…
