So, my first year's NCB comes up in a couple of weeks and its time to re-insure my bikes...

Ebike, who I've been insured with for the last year which only cost me about £600 all told for fully comprehensive, now want to charge me £1,142 to renew...... ¬_¬

Now THAT is a 'We don't want your business' quote if ever I saw one

They like to make their money from people who are too lazy / busy to shop around and just accept automatic renewal. You'd be surprised how many of them there are. Chances are, if you phoned around to get a much better quote, then they'd actually try and match it.

Sometimes though, they decide that a particular demographic is no longer a desireable risk/investment, so they price up those products to, yes, get rid of those customers. Happily though, when one company decies they don't want a particular emographic, there's always a dozen more who do. :)
