Of times of day, strengths, and other things
What is your favorite time of day? Why?
I don't need to sleep, as such, so every time is equal to me. Of course, it's easier to see by daylight - Seekers are visual creatures to a large degree. But the light of day also makes it easier to be seen. Night time is the friend of the sneaky.
I could choose rising dawn with its still, cool air and the last stars fading and surrendering to the increasing light, but that would be a cliché, wouldn't it? Decepticons always attack at sunrise. (I told Megatron about a million times we should attack in the early afternoon for a change and surprise them, but no…)
I could choose the fullness of noon, bright and glorious with the sun glistening on my wings.
I could choose night time; the quiet beauty of the stars, that silent reminder of the stillness and vastness of space.
I ask, why should I choose?
What is your greatest strength?
Being unable to truly die, for one thing. It's very hard to intimidate someone when you can't threaten him with death. How do you think Megatron kept me under control? By making me doubt that he wouldn't beat me to death, that's how.
Being forcibly divested of a body is still no fun, but I think real death would be worse. How can you gain power in this world when you're no longer in the world?
One curious thing I've observed is how the members of other species don't mind death. Sure, they will say they don't like to die, but ultimately, they accept it as inevitable and believe that the afterlife is where it's really at. For us Cybertronians, death isn't "natural", and so we don't accept it quietly.
Another strength of mine is that I don't give up. When I want something, I try again. And again. And watch out if you're in my way.
My cunning, also, and my brilliant intelligence and skills. I didn't become the pride of the War Academy or the Air Commander because of my handsome good looks, you know.
