Well, I did it. I put my money where my mouth is and donated to the OLPC project. So sometime in early 2008 I will be the proud owner of an XO-1 laptop. So will some lucky kid in the third world.

Now I'll have to start practicing my dodging techniques for the expected throng of "oooh can I borrow/play with/touch/see that?" people. :)
