5x20 All the Best!! 1999 - 2019
An unexpected delivery (a total of 7 months in transit from the day it was ordered), and it's here... \(@^0^@)/
The IFPI best-selling album of 2019 to commemorate their 20th anniversary as a group. And who would've thought about it, right? The majority of the fandom didn't expect that Arashi would win a prestigious award like that. And the second in the chart, was of course, also from my favorite artist that is "Lover" by Taylor Swift.
Anyway, I also can't believe that this album is finally in my hands. It was released in 2019, but at that time, I was still new at work, therefore, working for my savings first. And as mentioned in my previous post that last year was my "karupukan" year, this album is included on that splurging moment. I am equally happy to have the compilation album and their latest album before they went for the hiatus. (This was really one of the motivation why I work lol)

This album comes with three editions, but I was only able to secure the Limited Edition A that has a brown cover, and I think most of the copies (especially the Japan versions) are already sold-out by now. This is the Korean version, distributed through SM Entertainment. I also plan to buy the Limited Edition B (Taiwan version) because of its inclusions but still have to contemplate if I should really go for it 😅
The box and the font/text details are exquisite though, it looks like a chocolate bar (a big one, that is) from its external. There is no difference from the Japan version in the content and inclusions, except that this version has a Korean lyric booklet for all the 48 songs included in it, though much thinner than the Japanese lyric booklet.
The four discs are in a fancy tray-like case, and also lists the tracklist of the singles from memory lane, from the debut A.ra.shi to Kimi no Uta + a bonus track which is 5x20. It also includes a DVD for the 5x20 PV + Making, and it made me cry again watching how the lyrics and the pv shooting conveyed all the feelings of the members regarding reaching their 20th anniversary and the hiatus.
I think what made this edition really special is the 20 postcards inclusions. Arranged in AMNOS order, there are five group shots (5 is really the treasured number) and 3 solo photos of each member. The shoot has 2 variations (idk the term sorry), where the first one the members are wearing striped/checkered suits, and they look very regal and royal in it. Then the solo shot of the members, they are sitting on a chair that gave me the vibe that they are indeed, kings~
The second-type is a glossy type postcards that had a grey, brown, and black aesthetic. The members are wearing suits, 3 group shots and 2 for each member that has a close-up shoot and a whole body pose. (idk why I have to describe it in detail really 😆)
