WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO START PLAYING STAR OCEAN WHYYYY

And having remorse over selling my hard-found copy of Grim Grimmiore. I knew I would want to play it again as soon as I didn't have it, and now that I don't have it I NEED IT. I don't listen to myself enough. Same with Final Fantasy XII. I somehow navigated myself to it's TV Tropes page and ( Read more... )

I'd play healers and ranged characters too, and in the games where I play as a healer I make sure I do a damn good job of it. Melee...eeeeh sometimes it depends on the game.

I don't get to play many games where I can pick my class these days (see: Ragnarok), but ranged/mage/support were kinda my trifecta. Still are. Melee isn't... horrible, but something about spellcasters or projectile-slinging folk just fall in line with me better.

Not that beating virtual people/monsters with my virtual hands isn't satisfying.

Part of it with me is figuring out what to cast that would do the most damage, and then because most mages are squishy there's the added "oh and try not to get hit because you're dead in seconds if you are". Kind of challenging that way, sometimes.

SPEAKING OF MUSEBOXES I have one except it's dead. And then there are two others I currently mess around in (one of which you've seen) but they're both really slow. I practically have to beat Sam with various stick-like objects before he'll do anything sometimes.

Ignore the RP account; I'm far too lazy to continuously switch back and forth today.

That's true. It can get hectic if you manage to learn a crapton of spells and have to pick the right one in a boss battle or something, too. It's exciting, but insanely frustrating if you get the wrong one. Moreso if the spell helps the enemy. But hey, that's the fun in it. Good thing spellcasters usually have good range and can keep away from the enemy-- for the most part. They are kinda squishy, aren't they?

Mine was dead BUT ON THE THIRD DAY IT ROSE AGAIN TO KICK ASS AND CHEW GUM. If I didn't feel horrible about spamming places like 8_dressing (or too intimidated by the awesome that is cpslk_drssngrm), I wouldn't really use my musebox at all. I may get beaten myself with various stick-like objects for failing to remember it exists from now on.
