008 [Voice Post]

[The mic clicks on and then a few minutes of silence. Then the sound of a guitar can be heard. There's no specific melody as the strings are played idly. The instrument's lazy and absent minded accompaniment lasts through out the post]

No. It's like it's right there in the front of my mind, but... yeah, I just can't grab the memory.

I... I must follow orders. My programming is absolute. 'Freedom' is a concept which has no meaning to me.

...but thinking about it... what is this emotion I'm feeling? When I think of an eternity of following orders, it feels like something is boiling. What is it that I've forgotten?

Maybe you've forgotten that you really don't want to take orders, that there's some sort of... loophole in your programming allowing you free will. Seems like everyone's forgetting everything around here from what I can tell.

It is in my programming to obey certain orders. Freedom is not meant for ADAM units. That is a uniquely human prerogative.

However, my memory is still incomplete. It is impossible to say whether I would or would not want to obey orders, simply that I must.
