Prayers are going up. This storm is huge. I'm foorking worried. o_o This storm could be to Louisiana and Mississippi what last year's storms were to Florida. *sigh

I know you don't know me, But I am friends with Sarah..if you happen to get close to a computer before she does, will you let me know how she is doing. I know everything will be hectic and noone will know their ass from a hole in the ground for months and maybe a year or two.. but it'd be much appreciated if you've heard anything about her and her family.

Her family is all fine. They don't have electricity yet, but we all have running water. Our family just got our power back on today. Hers technically lives outside city limits, and their power lines run under ground. So, I'm not sure how long it will be before she's back online. But yes, she is fine. Just rather hot. I'll tell her you were asking about her.

hey.. sorry i didn't get back to you sooner.. i got sick and have been the ultimate lazy person.
:) I'm so glad you and yours are alright and that Sarah is ok too! I was so worried. All these horro stories on tv, you know. They get you all worked up.
Anyhoo.. thank you for getting back in touch with me and letting me know all was well. It'll be a long road to recovery.. but you're blessed with life and family. :)

I happened to check her friend's list and Thank the Gods october_eve was able to make a phone post. Airame and her family are fine. Hattiesburg, evidently came through it pretty well.
Just wanted to let you all know.
