I CANNOT EVEN REPEAT HOW LUCKY YOU ARE THAT YOUR OTP GETS TO DO THIS ON SCREEN. THIS IS ALL I WANTED WITH MULDER AND SCULLY. WHY COULDN'T WE HAVE THIS. WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY JUST LOOK AT THE HAIR PORN WHY
Seriously the most awesome episode. And not just for shipper reasons - they were the gravy, and I do love me some gravy, but add in some lulz and I am in heaven.
Favorite moment: When they're in the sheriff's office and working out the case (sexual catnip for them both) and she turns around and gives this look that is all can-we-lose-the-useless-law-enforcement-dude-because-I-need-you-to-rip-my-clothes-off-and-do-me-on-this-desk. Hot and hysterical all at once.
and she turns around and gives this look that is all can-we-lose-the-useless-law-enforcement-dude-because-I-need-you-to-rip-my-clothes-off-and-do-me-on-this-desk. Yes. I loved that. I loved that for one they were finally able to freely express just how much solving murders together turns them on. (Even though I hated that hip thrust moment by the couch)
Also, them coming up with Caskett? I feel like the entire show gave us all a big hug. I hated that, actually. I hate hate hate portmanteaux and them legitimizing it really annoys me.
NIKKI HEAT ROLEPLAYING? WHAT SHE DESIRES MOST? TOO MUCH AMAZING. WHO NEEDS POST EP FIC AFTER THAT?! NO ONE, THAT'S WHO.
SHE CRAWLS ON TOP OF HIM AND HE LOOKS AT HER LIKE IT'S LITERALLY THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO HIM IN HIS ENTIRE LIFE. Fuck. Those two are just sex personified.
- Ryan and Espo's trip down memory lane with Beckett's exes - I still thinks it's utterly ridiculous that they're doing this (well, not anymore now that Ryan knows, will get to that in a minute) and find it totally insensitive since EVERYONE knows hows in love with her Castle is but it led to some really humorous moments for me so I'll forgive it.
I agree with you here. It's a bit "Are you serious? How did you not know?" but the funny moments in this episode totally made up for it.
The way Ryan found out. That entire scene was fucking hilarious. I'm not usually a Seamus fan (find him kind of bland, really) but he killed that so so hard. As did the guest star. Very nice.
YES, THIS SCENE WAS SO ASHFHFHJDF. The way he says "Son of a b--" makes me laugh so much.

Yeah, me too. Not subtle, not subtle at all, and less is more when you've got two leads that are clicking the way SK and NF are.
