Growing up

Cayla and her b/f Jake are leaving on spring break today (going a couple days early, but they swear they've got classes covered). I'm taking them to the airport this afternoon. They go first for six days in Florida with Jake's best friend Phil, then they're flying to Colorado for 6 days with one of Cayla's bestest girlfriends Clea. They come home

Oh wow, that's a long spring break! But I hope they have a great time. And I know she misses Clea, so that'll be nice for both of them. Tell her to bring me back a postcard!

Australia? *boggles* As much as I'd love to visit there, it ain't gonna happen unless they perfect teleporting, because that flight is WAY too long for me. But go, Cayla!

Volleyball, huh? Good for him. I shall cheer him on from a distance if he makes the team.

Of course Liam comes home Wednesday night from Scouts with news that he might be able to go to the Florida keys next July 2015 for the SOOPER EXPENSIVE, but once-in-a-scouts-life trip to SeaBase in the Keys. *headdesk* A week of marine biology learning including snorkeling, possibly diving, and other water sports all mixed in with learning. His troop hasn't had the chance to go in 3 years, and it's only offered to the older scouts and it's quite the opportunity, and he might not get the chance again for another 3-4 years.

It's $1200 for the week, all inclusive. And will probably happen right around the same time we were thinking of Australia, knowing the way my luck goes.

We did the soccer thing, and the baseball thing already. I'm just excited that he's showing such a strong enthusiasm for this sport!
