‘Lord of the Rings’ cinematographer Andrew Lesnie dead at 59

Sad news today, as we learn that the incredible cinematographer for The Lord of the Rings saga, Andrew Lesnie, has passed away.

Australian cinematographer Andrew Lesnie was only 59 years old when he died suddenly on Monday.

This made me very sad. Reading the articles brought back the love of the gorgeous world he helped create, and I ended up watching the Fellowship EE this afternoon. Such a loss for film fans.
