Yesterday we reunited Mom & Dad, on the 57th anniversary of their marriage in the Catholic Church. We always celebrated May 24, 1952 (the day of their civil marriage by a Justice of the Peace) as their anniversary, but they were both proud of the fact that my Dad converted from a Southern Baptist to a Catholic, so they could be married "in the eyes ( Read more... )

She looked at him like throughout their marriage, until he died.

I want you to know I haven't forgotten your fic, it's just these past few days have been crazy emotional, and I'll need a couple more to get my head on straight. If you need to send it to someone else for BETA, I'll totally understand.
