She’s so stubborn. Stubborn, but special. The centre of my universe. You could even say she rocks my Yunieverse, but that’d be an awful pun. Not that I don’t make awful jokes all the time, but hey, I’m cutting down.
I wish Yunie would quit her pilgrimage. It’s so hard to watch her struggle; she tries to keep a smile on her face but sometimes it slips away. But then a look of concentration crosses her face and I wonder if she’s really managing to convince herself. If she isn’t, she’s an amazing actress. But then that goes without saying. She is my cousin, after all.
I love her to bits, but sometimes I hate her too. Not because she’s horrible or mean or anything like that. It’s just because she’s Yunie, perfect Yunie who can smile in any situation and never, ever loses her temper. Sometimes I wonder whether she’s even scared of anything, because she’s never looked actually scared even when we’ve come across the most enormous fiends that make me cower behind Auron.
She’s so modest. That’s another thing about her that I can’t decide whether I love or hate. She looks so uncertain sometimes, always looking to Lulu and Auron and Kimahri for advice, but everyone knows perfectly well that if she just did whatever she thought was right without asking anyone else for help she’d do it perfectly anyway. I suppose that’s why we all love her so much. She doesn’t realise how amazing she is.
I hope I can find a way to save her. Me and Tidus will think of something. I’m not going to let her die. She means too much to me. To all of us.
