Giving to receive smiles

Last Saturday on the 18th, me and a few friends did this mini outreach where we chip in and buy food products to give away in goodie bags to unfortunate people around town.

Now, they've had experience last year on Christmas they gave a gift bag to one person, and another bum saw it and so did many others. They somehow barricaded the car and went ( Read more... )

Based from my experience it's better to give charity to kids and not to the grown ups. Why? Because grown ups will add the possibility of using the money you give away to buy alcohol, cigarette, drugs, etc. Another thing is that grown ups adds the possibility of mugging you and leave you with nothing if they think you are too careless. Also, the possibility that they will swarm you with overwhelming force that you feel like a victim of a zombie horde or worse. I'm so glad we were able to help others. Imagine the surprise of getting a goody bag out of the blue. Hahaha! But the smiles you see were truly exceptional. Thank God it went well and good, He was truly with us. Happy Christmas!
