I am genuinely kinda tempted to buy it off Steam when it comes out. And I haven't even self-justified myself into buying the Monkey Island games yet!

Ken bought me the cleaned-up Monkey Island I on the Xbox for my birthday! I love those games.

I'll let you know what Portal 2 is like when I get it if you want?

(Hi! I miss you xx)

I am horrrrrible at video games (my eye-hand coordination begins and ends with Super Nintendo), but I love to hang out with Slod while she plays and occasionally, you know, advise her. She loves that.

So "we" have played Oblivion and Arkham Asylum. I love Oblivion--the storylines are so cool. And, Sean Bean!

We (me and NK) do the same. Usually one of us is playing while the other advises and comments and enjoys. It's so much fun!

Oblivion is great, isn't it? SO epically huge and interesting. And not only Sean Bean, but Sir Patrick of Stewart!

I haven't been playing any of those (my life has been all Dragon Age, all the time), but I really want to play Elder Scrolls (any/all) and Assassin's Creed.

Ooh, I have played all of those except Batman. Have you gotten Bioshock 2/Assassin's Creed II yet? ACII is a lot more fun than the first one, at least to me.

Did you play Morrowind before Oblivion? If not, you totes should. I love that game. :D

Have played Bioshock 2. It's good, but I think the story wasn't as good as the first one, so in that way it was a let-down. Although I did LOVE the bit from the POV of the Little Sister.

Haven't tried ACII but want to because there are some gameplay issues in ACI that I hope are improved.

I haven't played Morrowind, but I have plans to buy it now that we have a hard drive for the 360. I've heard it's SO GOOD.

I haven't played any of the Elder Scrolls except Oblivion, but it really is VERY worth it. Seriously. And Assassin's Creed is a good game, but with some slight gameplay issues. They've apparently been ironed out in the sequel, though.

I played THE FUCK out of Oblivion. I spent months dreaming about that game, I played so damn much. I sort of wanted to live in the Shivering Isles :D

Then, I got Dragon Age: Origins and I was so in love, there was no turning back. And not just because my male mc has a boyfriend... that was just icing on the cake of an awesome game. I'm still working my way through all the DLC from it. I hope that will keep me occupied until March, when the next game comes out. Yeah, I'm a big old dork. I own it.

On a not at all related note: CONGRATULATIONS! I love you and I'm so fucking thrilled that you're married and happy and beautiful in your dress. I was going to comment on the post, but I was all ♥_♥ for so long that I never got around to actually commenting :D
In conclusion: Yay!

PS: I bought my brother a t-shirt that just says, in small print like it's a special secret, 'there is no cake'.
