Last night I was catching up with anime and watched Accel World's 23rd episode. To my biggest surprise, the setting of the duel was a bit too familiar to me. XD Do you spot any similarities between the two pictures below?

I don't watch this anime and I rarely go to Budapest but this scenery is really familiar. I have only seen pictures of Hungary in Trinity Blood so far.

I love the anime and it was a nice little spice to it to see such a nice setting. XD

The only good thing about spending 2 hours of my life on a daily basis by commuting: I get to see the wonderful scenery of Budapest - both sides. <3

Yes, I remember Trinity Blood also - but there it was the actual place.

I'm not surprised. Many of our buildings are worth being inspiration for cityscapes and skylines. Too bad that this specific building lately has reminded me nothing but tyranny and oppression. It has become a symbol, it's hard for me to regard it only as building and not an institution of institutionalized deception.

It's sad but true. However, I can separate the two, like in the case of churches: I don't like the institution but admire the architecture.
