It has started and it's way better than I expected - KyoAni never fails to deliver. <3

And here is my fav moment of the first episode: )

Eh? What is this I’m watching at? (beside obvious (semi)naked apron?)

The new hype anime from Kyoto Animation - mainly aimed at females. Ever since the first PV was out, fangirls are going crazy about it & pixiv was full of fanarts even before the anime started. Which happened yesterday finally. :3 It is so full of fanservice, it's almost hilarious. Bur it's really great fun.

I totally agree with you.*nodnodnod*
My favorite character is Haru so far and only comes after Rin with Miyano Mamoru's voice!*drooooool* But this scene took EVERYTHING!♥
I almost spit on the monitor when I saw how huge was the yaoi cliche by this "naked" apron.*chuckle* But it worked very well and I loved it.*_____*

I can't wait to see the next ep.^^

I could not believe my eyes - so full of fanservice at all levels and so many teasings... <3 But it's well-balanced and can take it as a joke, too. I just love the way Haruka shreds his clothes in seconds when he sees water. XD
Haruka is my fav, too - I love tsundere characters. And I already ship him with Rin (that sexy voice of his *drooool*). Makoto is nice, too - but almost too nice for my taste. Nagisa is really cute, I was afraid he'd annoy me but fortunately not, and I loved his nekkid swimming scene, too. XD I can't wait to 'meet' Rei.
It's great to see that not only otakus get their ecchi anime but now fujoshi (and fudanshi) also can have their own fun. :3

Egyszerűen zseniális a cucc. XD

Harukát imádom. Ahogy a legkisebb pocsolyát látva is nekiáll vetkőzni... *sóhaj* Igazi tündérbogyó a srác. XD

Tudod mi a durva?

XD

I wanted to wait till I'm over my busy week to watch the first ep, but I couldn't wait after seeing your post XD Oh my, it's delicious and dripping of fanservice >:D~~~ Like you said, there also seems to be a tint of irony in the whole thing, and doesn't take itself to seriously, which is good. I was overall satisfied with the quality too. On the other hand the comments and otaku-bashing around it are really ridiculous - it's like they want to have all anime only for themselves and are hurt in their otaku pride when (extremely rarely) we girls get a fanservice show too *rolls eyes*

Sorry to tempt you. ;) I was also dead tired but I thought 'what the heck, it's only 20 minutes and it's because I'm dead tired, I deserve some fun'. It filled me with so much energy and excitement, so it was a good decision. ;)
I've read all the treads related to Free at MAL, I especially liked the one where they asked whether straight guys would watch it or not. To my biggest surprise, only a tiny majority said it's too gay to their taste, the rest was open minded and decided to watch it becauset it's Kyoani.
I've read those ridiculous bashings and my thoughts were the same: sour grape and idiotic pride was behind it. I've watched many fun series with ecchi fanservice e.g. Golden Boy, Chobits, High School DxD and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Noticed the fanservice but also noticed that it's not for me. This is another proof that women are more accepting and open minded than guys.

I bet you could see basically the whole episode through the screencaps but it's much more fun in 'real' - with the voices, the jokes etc. Have fun watching it! :3 I definitely did... :P

I'm so glad you liked it! XD I'm so excited - I can't wait to see the next (3rd) episode already. The second was great, too, with many moments to remember again. :3

I've gotta check that out, too - I've downloaded it but the Free boys totally stole the show from everyone else. XD
