My office is apparently planning to branch out into the field of cold storage, as I'm pretty sure I could hang a slab of beef over my desk right now and it would be kept within the recommended temperatures for food safety. Um, we have the same lack of heating problem here. And its in the 60s today but its still pretty dang cold in the building.

Turns out we have no heat.

I think our problem here is that I work on the first floor of an 11 story building that was built in 1910 (or thereabouts), and so the heat distribution is really uneven. Plus the first floor has the loading dock and the freight entrances, which are not as insulated as the rest of the building, and people on upper floors complain that it's too hot if we turn the heater on to where we can feel it on the first floor. We used to just let the people roast, but I guess since they're renters now instead of employees we're being nice to them or something. *shiver*

Yeah, see, for no discernable reason, my office has been about 80 degrees. So it's impossible to wear appropriate clothing to get to work and then to be at work.

Can we average our buildings, please?

Well, I hope you stay healthy and well. It's just easier if something DOES go wrong to have had regular maintenance done. Then you don't have to start from scratch with the list of Terrifying Junk Ailments. :/
