movie opinion (I try not to have spoilers this time)

Saw Southland Tales tonight. It was a trip. I think I enjoyed it, although I have to say at the end it became ridiculously over the top in a sci-fi blasts right out of the realm of possibility sort of way. There was a lot of religiousness that I'm not yet sure how I feel about, and at times it got a little ranty-jesus-freak-at-Park St. preachy,

i'd heard interesting things about this before it went public. what makes me really mad is that i was going to go try out for an extra part in the director's next movie, "the box", but i had an interview that day and never managed to send in a head shot and info postcard. oh well.
