Also: shipping Bagginshield. Need fic to read. BUT I AM TROUBLED BECAUSE I HAVE NOT READ THE BOOK. I seriously cannot read Tolkien. But I might try again. Oh the things I do for fandom.

I've cut down on my tabs! Seriously, I've only got nine up currently. That's an improvement for me.

And don't worry about not having read The Hobbit. Most of the fic out right now is at least 75% movie 'verse, with only a dash of the books canon thrown in to make up for the missing two thirds of the story. Half of what happened in the movie is taken from the appendices of the LotR trilogy anyway, and didn't even come from The Hobbit. The book doesn't end happily for the line of Durin, so if you're in the fandom for the Bagginshield and Durincest you're gonna read a lot of AUs.

Have you tried to read The Hobbit before, though? If you only tried to read the LotR trilogy you might find The Hobbit a lot easier. I actually managed it. Twice, even. Once for my grade 10 novel study and then just before Christmas.

I think I tried LotR, but I don't remember. And yes, I know the ending is a fucking tragedy, I am already sobbing (but not rly.)

Pretty good, actually. I have no complaints, and it helps that Bagginshield is a relatively new fandom. I'm still flying pretty high on that right now. Give me a couple more weeks and my joy will start to peter out, especially since I'm already starting to stare morosely at WIPs.

hahaha :( yeaaaaah I'm kinda, not wanting to click on any WIPs. Teen Wolf fandom is bad enough for them!
