Uh... I-- um. [He sounds like he's fidgeting a lot, and shuffling around.

Yep, those are definitely the sounds of cloth being stuffed into a bag.]

How-- how long does it take for someone to wake up from a coma again? Not the usual kind of coma. [Hope sounds utterly distracted right now.] The one where you get new memories and all that.

And how much did he or she get?

Not much. A week or so worth of memories. However, I've heard stories of others sleeping for nearly a week and receiving months of memories. The time spent 'at home' does not correlate to the time spent asleep in Johto.

[Drops his gaze to his hands.] Could be months though... I don't know what could happen back there.

Took 'bout a week for me. Pretty sure that's the average!

[He's got no idea what this means, so.] Eh? What the hell kind of coma is that?

I don't know. ... It's kind of why I'm asking, too.

Welcome to Johto, I guess. [There's no hint of sarcasm, just a kid who's got a lot on his mind.]

[...Oh. This brings back memories. This has happened to Ken before, going into a coma to find memories, or in his case, his "heart". He's silent for a short moment, before speaking quietly.]

It depends on the type of memories the person is receiving, and how willing they are to accept them.

The future. They're going... I don't know, anywhere from a few days to years in the future. They just live through all that in normal time, and then come back. That's how it goes.

[This must be the "weird coma" I was told about the other day. He feels himself tense though from the response, unsure what to say.]

That's -- ... [Strange.] I... um. I'm sure... I mean.... [He's quiets, fidgeting and fumbling over his words.] I wish them a safe... [Well, trip wasn't the right word...] transit.
