They lost.

The Suns lost.

I can't believe it's over.

I really hate the way the series ended.

The Game 5 suspensions really took a toll on the team. The Spurs were playing so hard, too. Actually, just plain dirty, a majority of the time. From Stevie's collision with Tony Parker in Game 1 resulting in his cut-up nose to Bruce Bowen's horrid knee to Nash's groin to Horry's ridiculous body slam to Steve in Game 4 (am I detecting a pattern towards injuring a certain Canadian point guard?), SA played rough.

Heh, that was an understatement.

...It seems so unfair.

All the work the Suns did this season... those instantly hardwood classic games they had against New Jersey in December and Dallas in March... their slogan of keeping "their eyes on the prize"... all for nothing.

However, I do admire Steve Nash so much for how he handled it. He's such an amazing leader for his team, and his sportsmanship is remarkable (especially how after G6 he hugged Fin and Duncan). Unlike my man Dirk, Steve does not get all emo when times are rough. That's what I really love about him...how he carries himself. He is the model athlete: a natural leader, makes his teammates better, and is a rolemodel off the court.

You had a good run, Stevie. Let's see you take your team all the way next season!

I'm curious to see how Sarver will handle the franchise during the off-season. Hopefully, he'll make some good decisions, and the Suns will finally get their Ring next year!
