I've begun to wish I had kept a journal since high school. I have kept various journals at different times and it's fun to go back to them at times to see what my point of view was like at an earlier point in my life and see how my perspective has changed. It also helps you remember the little details that can mean so much. I was just thinking the other night of a girl I asked out my sophomore year who turned me down for a date. I can see her face so clearly in my mind but I can't for the life of me remember her name. I don't think I was keeping a diary then but I hope I was and I hope I can find it. I wonder how many more little details will slip away over the years. I think that's why I've gone with the Live Journal; harder to lose it, easier to search.

So I'm glad you wrote down Elizabeth's name. You'll get a kick out of that in 50 years.
