Wow this is really good ^_^ very well done, and the song lyrics match up with your story perfectly (some song fics I've noticed don't seem to care what song they throw in and where the lyrics are put >_<) so, great job ^_^

Thank you so much! I know what you mean about the lyrics just being thrown in there (I hate when it's like a whole stanza, lol). I tried very hard with this one, especially since I usually hate song fics. I'm glad it came out alright.

I wanted to try something else with Sakura. At the time I wrote this I was pretty new to the fandom and a lot of stories bashed her pretty terribly i.e. making her a shallow bitch, killing her, etc.. I thought it would be a nice twist to see that she actually meant it. (though pre-timeskip I think it was a school girl crush *hopes so, as NaruSasu is her OTP*)
