Tonsils under attack

I haven't had tonsilitis for well over a decade, perhaps two, so I was surprised to find the back of my throat swollen and covered in white spots this morning. I had a swollen gland yesterday, but had shrugged it off as usual, thinking that it would go away. Apparently not
