Yea, after 4 years of living in a dorm using a computer for, well, everything, I kinda got away from that now that I'm on my own. I haven't been on AIM since. And I stopped watching TV really too. I still don't know what that's about. But that's what I was here to talk about, and so I haven't been around.

But I heard this very dramatic commercial for Smallville this morning so I decided to check it out. And I saw Pete - and of all the episodes to put him in! How funny! It made me think of all my LJ friends. I had to say something.

It's cool that you're still reading. I haven't watched a current TV show in ages. I wouldn't know what anyone is talking about. I don't know why I have this sudden lack of interest. I made a new years resolution to watch my Lost season 2 DVDs and I still haven't opened the box. Amazingly enough, I really haven't been spoiled.

How are you? Are you still in school?

Yea, it was cute to see Pete again. It's nice the way he can have conversations with Chloe and Lana eye to eye. Plus I just always think he's great.

I know I've been gone forever. I just stopped watching TV. And then I didn't have anything to talk about with you all.

I've been doing great though. My job's going good and I have a very sweet boyfriend and my family is all doing well. Things are good. How are you?

You were always such a great friend here! I'm glad you're still around.
I've been gone forever haven't I? Which isn't to say I'm really coming back - I don't want to lead you on. I don't spend large amounts of time on the computer anymore. But I certainly haven't forgotten you. I keep your christmas cards.

How are you doing? I hope things are going well for you.

Well, it's nice to say hi regardless. I don't mind, really, sometimes these things they of just come in and out of your life. There when you need them and sometimes you move on to the other things that take center stage. I'm cool with that.

I'm so-so. Presently on the second leg of my masters and plodding along. Most things are good. And you? How are things?

I so admire you for the whole continuing education thing. I am far too lazy to think about going back for my masters. I was always so bad with homework - putting things off until the last minute. I would get so stressed out with everything.

Most things are good for me too. My job is good. It's not extremely intellectually stimulating, but it does occasionally challenge me and it pays well and the people I work with are mostly great. (There always a few annoying ones.) So I'm pretty happy with that. Some days I can complain about it for hours, but when I sit back and think about it - it's a good job.

My boyfriend and I are about to take a vacation to Florida so I'm really excited about that. I can't wait.

It is a little weird sometimes, being on my own. I'm so bad at meeting people, and I don't have any of my close friends near by, including my boyfriend. So life can be a bit lonely at times. But my weekends are always fun.
