I have just heard the news that Pete Williamson, a dear friend and colleague from South Valley UU Society, lay down to take a nap today and didn't wake up. I need to process that, so maybe you will share with me here ( Read more... )

I love what you wrote, and how you write. You are so right on about Pete.
If you are willing to get me hard copy of the poems, I would appreciate it. The last one: you penned that? Beautiful.

Hi, Deb...no, I am sorry, I did not write the last poem. I just realized I forgot to put the attributions on the last two poems. The one you liked was written by Henry Scott Holland who lived from 1847 to 1918. I have always loved it because it is so matter-of-fact and unafraid, and I thought it sounded just like something Pete would have said. I will be happy to make you copies of the poems. I will leave them at church for you. Thank you for your loving words. I appreciate them.
