Dante hadn't gotten around to cleaning the office yet when he got an unexpected return visitor. When Cato had come back that day only a few minutes after leaving to drop his friend off back in his proper dimension things had just happened and though it wasn't planned it had been good for both of them even if a little odd in timing. He must have stayed in bed for days after all that nonsense (well it felt like days anyway) and finally he felt up to the task of fixing up his shop now that the Shadow devil was off somewhere else.
Atellus must not have intended to come back here--at least not so soon or on purpose--because the hunter heard a sigh before he turned around to confront the kid. The teen looked irritated and Dante was thankful that it felt less directed at him and more in general for this nonsense with the dimensional barriers breaking down between their two worlds. For a moment nothing happened as the two just sort of stared blankly at one another.
Then the younger of the two noticed what was held in the other's hand and quirked an eyebrow at the red coated man. Atellus glanced around the office and one corner of his mouth twitched upwards in an ironic smirk. Well. Cato had come back home pretty happy recently so whatever faults the man had there was at least something the guy had going for him if he could manage to cheer up the Shadow after his insane temper-tantrum the other day. Though he hated to give the older hunter a chance after what he'd seen and gone through for his best friend's sake he would at least try. Without saying a word Atellus walked up to the older man and, looking him straight in the eye, took the broom from out of his hands.
Dante didn't need anything to be said at the moment. He broke eye contact first, looking away from what wasn't intended to be but felt accusatory. It was his own conscience making him feel guilty. He got the gesture well enough. He was being given the benefit of the doubt. Dante didn't know how to feel about that but his chest tightened and he thought it best not to try and attempt any words.
In complete silence, the two of them began to slowly rearrange the shop in what eventually managed to resemble an actual somewhat decent place of business.
