I keep intending to comment on your entires, but am always unsure as WTF would be good for you to read when you're feeling shite, as I have a feeling that you'll probably just translate anything we write as 'lol, I'm in Eng-er-lande!', in the same way Leo translates anything Guy says as 'I'm a cock, I'm a cock, I'm a massive massive cock!'.

It does sound pretty lame over there, especially not knowing anyone - have you tried seeking out a local music scene, maybe there's something interesting there, and a chance to meet some col people? 20 minutes history presentations... in the wrong language is fucking shitty - I do a history degree, and my presentation in a few weeks is 10 mins, and I'm pairing up with someone else. You're definitely being shafted there :S Have you tried JSTOR for finding some relevant articles on it?
