My Excellent Nightmare.

Jan 10, 2007 09:50

Man. I had the best nightmare ever last night. I kept trying to wake myself up because it was so horrible, but I didn't manage to wake up until the bitter end (which was 6am, three hours after I should've been up. So, instead of getting my experiment done, I was trapped in a nightmare. GREAT JOB, BRAIN ( Read more... )

Interesting dream.

I particularly love the ambivalent ending.

Heh. Yeah, the ending. I felt kind of bad, on waking up, that I hadn't fought harder to keep my friend safe, but hey, I had a chunk of meat taken out of my leg! How much could I have really done? :P

Hullo. I added you... you might not remember since it's been a while but I've posted on TWoP under the screenname Diamond. Anyhow, that was one twisted mofo of a dream. I have weird horror movie dreams like that all the time. Must stop watching so much TV and movies (she said unconvincingly). ;)

Hey! Sure I remember you... how've you been? And it's good to hear I'm not the only one with nightmares like that, though I suppose as SPN fans, we're sort of asking for it. ;) Honestly, I think it's kind of cool, because you wake up SO HAPPY that it's not real. I had a dream when I was in college, around the time a sniper was picking off people in the DC area, that I got shot in the stomach and no one would treat me at the hospital. I woke up, hand over my abdomen, convinced there would be blood... and had the sweetest relief EVER when I touched whole skin. :) It just reminds you that your life, annoying and stressful though it may be, could be tons worse. ;)

Hehehe, yes, those dreams usually do lead to a great big sigh of relief when you wake up. I also have dreams where my teeth are falling out or I've gone blind and when I wake up I am SO happy to just have teeth or eyes. :D

I know! It's because of my horror fixation. And speaking of, I need to get out of the office sometime soon... it's 10pm on a Friday, for one thing, and it's crossed the line from dedicated to pathetic... and for another thing, I'm always paranoid about being here alone this late. Chalk that one up to The Grudge.

Friended back! :)

Hehe. I don't remember them unless they're bad, for the most part. :) Or unless they're about great sex with inappropriate people, which is almost worse. ;)

Friend away, and friended back! :)
