Fic Summaries & Artist Sign-ups
It is time for artists to claim a fic! Writers: get me those summaries to be added to this list.
Claiming a Story:
Summaries will be claimed first come, first served. (Not all summaries have yet been submitted, watch for this list to grow through Nov 14.)
Each summary will be given a number. Comments to this post will contain a number in the subject title, which will respond to the summary. If you want to claim that summary, reply to the relevant comment.
Once a fic has been claimed, no one else can take it.
Once the summary has been claimed, you'll be given the author's name and contact information.
Rules for Artists:
We are accepting artists who are willing to create at least one screen sized graphic image or video (coming in at no less than 2:30 minutes) inspired by the fanfiction.
Graphic artwork can be hand drawn, computer generated, Photoshop, or some other process. It can reflect a pivotal scene from the fic or be more impressionistically inspired by the entirety of the fic.
Artists-should they be inclined-can create multiple pieces of art in a series to accompany the final project; the stupendous example would be a fully illustrated fic.Icons and banners will not count as the sole graphic artistic contribution, but they are welcome additions if you want to create them to accompany the fic.
Videos can express the story of the fic, reflect on the mood, or respond to a soundtrack that the author may provide.
You will be able to post your story on your own journal or site, and we'll create a master list of links and summaries at the community.
Art cannot be posted anywhere prior to your assigned posting date.
Important Deadlines:
Your final piece must be completed by December 1st. You may provide us with a link to the art or video or the art file itself.

The Summaries:
1. Untitled

Pairing: Duchess/Jack, Semi-OC/Jack, and Duchess/Ten

Triggers: Drug use, Violence
Summary: After the Queen's fall from power, Jack is tasked with creating a new reign that in no way resembles his mother's. The long dormant House of White does not trust the new king and wishes to establish their own rule. Strengthening their cause are Wonderland citizens who share their disbelief in the man's promises. Another group, those who benefited from the Queen's control also oppose Jack's rise. While these people have no one to put up as a replacement ruler, they work mainly underground draining oysters, and selling/trading bottled emotions.
2. The Courtship

Summary: When Alice agrees to a 4-week-long courtship before being intimate with Tarrant, she doesn't realize exactly what she's getting herself into.

Summary: It is said that good intentions pave the road to hell. What, then, of the best intentions? Helen Kingsleigh allows an ill Alice to be drug back to Underland against her will by a concerned Hatter, who insists that being Below and in contact with him is her only cure.

Then not only her life's at risk - and at that point she has to make a more important decision. A second one. After all no drink's just a simple tea.
