Some days I wonder what I would be like if I didn't have as much ambition as I do. If I were just the kind of person to be content with little achievements and little successes, if I weren't the type to reach and reach and reach and then add a few more things to reach for even while the first several goals were still only a little underway...

You are talking about a fundamental personality change, so it's very hard to judge

*groans* I'm not even trying for super-ambitious. I just overload my plate so routinely that it's not even funny. T_T And I overload it because I feel like I should be able to get everything done... and then while I'm working on getting things done, I add more to my plate because why not? >_<

My standards have fallen in the last few years. *sheepish* I don't overachieve on a full plate. I just achieve. But even achieving on a full plate is getting very, very stressful. And we're not even talking about things you can brag about, or whatever--I signed up for two fic challenges on top of finals and other projects and game composing and X and Y and Z. (I don't want to sound like I am competing in the Busyness Olympics, but I found myself an unwilling entrant, and it's my fault because I don't do enough reflection on what's achievable and what is just asking for trouble... T_T)

Don't I know it. *groans* I wish I had the chops to back it up. Half the time I do, and half the time... not really, but I somehow scrape by with a LOT of help from my friends. Occasionally I fail, but that's fine too. ^_^ (I don't usually fail when it COUNTS. ^_^)
