2014 in Review
(Not a return to fandom, just memorializing some things. ^_^)
Words written in 2014: 75,814 in fic (by AO3's count) over 22 fics varying from a 296-word drabble to a 21k monster that I dropped unfinished (I'd only gotten four chapters in!) Dropping Out

Semi-Hiatus Update
I survived the fic-writing, but I’m still on semi-hiatus doing the following:- Game soundtrack composing
- Loncon 3 upcoming
- Tax extensions and 3Q14 work colliding into October 2014

Update
I am now at 14.4k, but I am very tired and sleepy, and my initial estimate of 15k now seems laughable-this story is NOT wrapping up in 600 words. Most of this will need editing and rewriting tomorrow too, which is my last real writing day. T_T In any case, to bed; tomorrow is the last stretch. 2014 Word Count Update
My wordcount has not changed since the last wordcount update: I'm still at 56,500+ words for the year. However, it doesn't include the 5k+ words I've written over the last two weeks or so that are going towards the project I am hopefully posting next weekend. (We'll see. It may need to be extended. T_T I would rather not, though.)

So, yesterday I wrote 4300+ words and I am at 7k right now... but half of that needs to be scrapped, and the other half needs minor-to-major rewrites. Oh, and I've just been reminded that my deadline is August 3, not 9, so I have one less weekend to write this ( Read more... ) -

Semi-Hiatus in Progress
Just an update on current RL things. I need to:- finish Super Sekrit Project (due August 9, but I am afraid I am likely to need an extension as it is projected to be at least 10k and I am less than 3k in…)
