I'm planning to join the test next year... Orz I'm real afraid of the speaking test. ;w;

:) IELTs was okay, I got Reading 8.5, Speaking 8, Writing 7 and Listening 7. I get to retake Listening because on that day, there were problems with the audio. But I'm not really happy with Writing =/

I think you'll be fine for speaking, the examiners are really nice. :)

I'm not a native-speaker of English, and I don't speak it often too. So I'll probably practice more of it... How did they test your Speaking anyway? owo;;

I'm sorry, but where are you from again?? ^^;; Your English seems fine to me :)
I did General Training not Academic, not sure which module you're doing but I think it's about the same.
So what they did:
First they ask you really simple stuff, talk about your family etc.
Second they give you a topic, and you are given 1 minute to plan and 1-2 minutes to talk about it. Mine was describe/talk about someone you admire.
Third, they elaborate questions on the topics and you have this discussion over it :) In my case, it was about youth turning into celebrities and the effects/impacts.
