So my sister is booked in to have her 2nd baby in about 2 weeks time. This is great but not so great is the fact that I've decided to make her a cot quilt in time for the little one's arrival. We don't know what she's having, (I hate surprises), but I think what I've thought to do will be ok.
So it's a bit of a cross between yellow brick road

Personally I love albatrosses, but that might be too closely linked to the sea. You could do a lovely bright Australian parrot? If you made the land animal a kangaroo or koala then it could be Australian themed? Just some thoughts...

Thanks for those ideas...I'll let you know what I decide...although I have to say with music in the family I like the singing bird...I would never have thought of that...I like the parrot idea too ...maybe for the next one? so many ideas so little time...lol
