I just cannot read to exams. cramming and last minute studying is not my thing. Then again, slow steady, even studying during a semester... not really my thing either. I love acquiring new knowledge though. Just not to be tested in it

Congratulations, you're officially a procrastinator! Your best work happens when you're avoiding something else. This isn't bad, it just means you should get yourself a large, unwieldy project to not-do so you can do other stuff when you avoid it.

Good luck on your exam. I'd say make the paintings and art, because I think you might be right about losing focus once the exam is over, but on the other hand I'm sure you actually want to do your best, so...
Just don't avoid doing either thing. Would be kinda sad if you can't read and didn't do the other thing either. What if you end up trying to make paper mâché and realize it's actually really annoying. Perhaps you'll find that studying is less of a hassle? (it's happened to me)
