Garlic

My fingertips smell like garlic for almost 3 days, results of a gigantic potato salad batch. How can I remove this smell? I washes my hands 432983098 times already.

two things that sound weird but work:

moutwash (some say toothpaste too): wash your hands with mouthwash and then obviously wash the mouthwash off.
stainless steel: i'm not sure exactly why but it's a cook's secret that if you have like a stainless steel sink or faucet or bowl or utensil whatever if you rub your hand over it while washing your hands then it gets rid of the smell.

i've just always used mouthwash since we don't have a stainless steel sink any more.
