I know, isn't it a scream? Like when Mr. Obama said that Mr. Snowden should just come on home - yeah, seriously - and sort of throw himself on the government's mercy. He'd be treated with all due consideration. The president said that. Of course he meant it.

I haven't heard of anything that convincing since I was a child, watching Saturday morning cartoons:

Huckleberry Hound (playing an RCMP, standing outside a likely hideout, speaking to a suspect he is pursuing): Are you in there, Lucky Pierre?

Lucky Pierre: Oh, non! I promise you, I am not in here!

Huckleberry Hound (musing out loud): Well, dang! I thought sure he'd be in there...

:D I Love Teh Cartoons.

Well :( nowadays we are the cartoons, innit.

'government's mercy' *Shudder* Putin is quite weird, but I'd rather Snowden stayed out of reach of uk, usa and anyone who collaborates with them. This includes my own country. It has produced Rajesh De :/ after all (http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/mar/19/us-tech-giants-knew-nsa-data-collection-rajesh-de?commentpage=1).
