Nice blouses don't go with torn baggy jeans. changing clothes requires rethinking the whole keys-cards-cellphone arrangement. nice pants don't go with tevas. biking in high heels isn't bad, but walking with a heavy backpack on one shoulder just doesn't work. this must be how normal women feel when forced to appear in public in completely informal ( Read more... )

If only everything and every occasion went with tevas, I'd be set. I'd be willing to switch over to hiking boots in case of low temperatures, especially if biking. But that's it.

aye aye, if only everything went with tevas...
as it is, anything that doesn't is effectively excluded from my wardrobe; but occasionally that is sad.

Nice blouses go great with jeans. Not so sure about torn jeans, but untorn jeans would complement blouses well.

yes, but they have to be the pretty-fitted new-clean variety of jeans, not the supercomfortable baggy caught-in-the-bike-chain variety...
