When I was in my first year of high school, I was walking along one day when Dane-someoneorother came over to me and said "Hey! You walk with your arms out from your sides, like this. Like you think you're tough. But you're not."*

For a short while I was very self conscious about how I walk, so I made an effort to correct it. Later, I would find ( Read more... )

I am coming to London for a whirlwind 6 days in July. Should my friend Kimberly and I swing by for a falafel?

When in July? I'm gonna be all over the country that month... Edinburgh, Isle of Wight and Brighton. I gots my Dad coming for the month and my girlfriends birthday, ya see! Exciting times :D

Are you holidaying anywhere else in the area? What's the grand plan?

3rd through 8th. my friend, who is both insane and makes lots of money, decided to treat me to a free trip so we could go see a couple Duran Duran shows (mind, she does have enough frequent flier miles to cover my airfare, but she is still mad). I'm like, 'free trip to my favourite city to see my favourite band? yeah, I think I'll do that.'

in other news, a guy at work told me recently that he may be able to procure some 'vitamin L'! I am dancing a proverbial jig at this news.

I am delighted, btb, to hear that things are still swell with yer gf. Well done!

I'm working my usual 12 hour shifts almost all those days, but it should be doable anyways. Write me closer to the date.

I assume 'Vitamin L' is a type of class A drug. Or a lesbian euphemism?

A matter of more pressing concerns would be, should the number of x increase, would you be forced to give up other daily activities that allows you to assert yourself as an individual in society, like flossing and giving law abiding citizens the thumbs up? I mean, you could potentially come apart at the seams! Good lord man, get a grip! Thank god you still swear!

No, I'll always have time to reward good citizens with a hearty thumbs up. Polite consideration is the cornerstone of civillised society!

But my girlfriend has already seen the graph and warned me that in no way should X increase whatsoever, lest it be followed by an immediate and sharp decrease on her behalf.

But I'm making an effort to rejoin the online community once more!

I used to have a female friend like that too. Then I realised she was about the most obliviously self centered person I know, and using me to bolster her self esteem whenever she single. I got tired of being head over heels with a girl who was that crap and unreliable, so I stopped talking to her over a year ago, it's been brilliant :)

Your bro seems to be doing terribly. He's living in a shithole, sharing his tiny bedroom with some other dude. But he seems cheerful enough despite that. He even stayed at my place the other night (along with Dan Law). He farted a lot while he was there. He also told me about the concept of 'DanTime', which is awesome.

Part of me thought that the whole arms-to-the-sides thing was just in Danes imagination. But you've disproven that. The truth is hard to bear my friend, but I'm a stronger man for it. Thank you.

'Dan Time', as I understand it, is a bizzare temporal and spacial phenomenon in which physics (as we traditionally understand it) breaks down and the entire universe literally revolves around Dan for a brief period of time. It's kind of like bullet time in the matrix, except only Dan can do it.

It's first recorded occurence was apparently when you went downstairs for a drink one night and found Dan sitting by himself in his underpants, watching TV and eating ice cream while stoned out of his mind. Upon asking what he was doing, he responded only with, 'It's Dantime'.

Dan can only cast Dantime with full mana, and only once per day with a 45/60 chance of success.
