I miss you, Mr. Fish. It's been quite a while since you and I have gone out on the town and wrote fortunes on sugar packets. I suspect Olympia is the kind of town that would appreciate fortunes on sugar packets. I've been there, but only briefly - a quick stop on the way from Portland to Tacoma for a dinner that I wrote about many years ago, taking about 3000 words to do it. I miss that area of the country, too. Green everywhere, wet with water, an abundance of Subarus with drivers that sneer at SUV owners. I don't miss the grocery store aisles, which were often too tight for carts going opposite ways to pass one another. Remember that one apartment building where we kept seeing three Renault LeCars? I still suspect that represented one running Renault LeCar. My sister-in-law lives in Portland now, working at a Victoria's Secret at Lloyd Center, I think. I have a few minutes this morning and decided to spend them rambling with you, but I'm being sent away now to a client where they allow smoking in the offices - lovely for ( ... )

It's good to read your posts again. And thanks for posting about the Splash Park last summer. I had never heard of it before and I took Alex and he loved it.
